PDF, TXT, MS Office, iWork, HTML, pictures, music & audio-books, videos. This is what you can view in GoodReader, plus you can also annotate PDF files and edit TXT files.

PDF files is where GoodReader truly shines. Reading experience is so superior, it's hard to describe. To rephrase one of our customers' review, "try it, and you'll see." While you're at it, give our PDF Reflow feature a try. You'll be surprised how much better PDF reading goes when you don't have to scroll left/right all the time, for every single line of text.
Annotating PDFs is another star feature of our app. Adding notes and drawings, highlighting text, and then sharing your annotated files or annotation summaries will be your main productivity and collaboration asset.

While reading files is a big part of GoodReader, it's not all it can do. It can also serve as a central hub for all your files, even those that can't be opened by GoodReader itself. Un mini Finder pour iOS
Please: fix wrong text encoding name with .zip or other archives format. I don’t want to use the Apple Files app for this task anymore. Thank you. My previous review: — GoodReader devrait être intégrée à iOS par défaut ! Un exemple : sa gestion d’iCloud est un modèle d’intelligence et de bon sens : ce qui est dans le Cloud doit rester dans le Cloud et ne pas occuper de la place inutilement sur l’appareil, sauf au cas par cas ! Les ingénieurs Apple devraient prendre des notes et s’en inspirer… Je l’utilise principalement pour de la gestion de fichiers « à l’ancienne » entre iOS, macOS, des volumes réseaux locaux et distants. C’est une application qui est indispensable pour une utilisation maîtrisée des fichiers sous iOS pour les utilisateurs.trices exigeant.e.s. Fidèle utilisateur depuis la version 1, je sais que les développeurs de GoodReader gardent de bonnes surprises pour les mois et années à venir (s’ils ne se font pas racheter leur bébé par Apple…) Cette version 5 est plus fluide à tous les niveaux. Mes besoins pour les futures mises à jour : pouvoir décompresser les archives au format 7zip, ré-intégration de la lecture des fichiers html en local, intégrer le support complet du format ePub, pouvoir éditer les métadonnées des fichiers audio et vidéo, intégrer un mini-éditeur de texte qui supporte la prise de note avec la syntaxe Markdown. Bravo et merci pour ces (déjà !🍾) 10 années de mises à jour ininterrompues, de qualité et sans abonnements !!! 👍

This app is just great ! You can save any kind of file and use it later..You can also annotate a PDF, sign it etc.. Love it!

Je n’imagine pas le nombre d’arbre s que cette appli m’a permis d’épargner. Hyper pratique d’un point de vue perso ou travail.

Blurry pdf. Shame on you Goodreader !
Goodreader could be excellent. It is my favorite for browsing pdf because of its file management capabilities. Unfortunately, it is bad at rendering pdf when they are large. I have an example where Goodreader got stuck while it goes flawessly in most os the other pdf resders. I just change my ipad to one of the latest M1 and thought that it would be over with this monster machine. But no, Goodreader is still incapable to render this 25 pages pdf. A shame. I am afraid Goodreader is no longer working on his software. This bug has been here for nearly 10 years.
