Google Calendar: Get Organised

Best calendar app but it would be even better if you could rename the colour tabs because it’s hard to organise when you can’t remember what the colour “blueberry” stands for!

Update - December 10: Thank you for adding the task option to the phone version, it’s incredibly helpful! I was hoping to find the same feature on the iPad version, and it would be amazing if you could add it there as well. The ability to add tasks throughout the day is especially beneficial for someone with ADHD. I primarily use my iPad to plan and schedule my days, but I’ve noticed the iPad version of the app differs from the iMac version. Specifically, on the iPad, I can’t add tasks or rename event calendars, even when they’ve already been modified on my Mac. This limitation makes it frustrating not to be able to add tasks directly from the iPad app.

I am deleting this app for something else. I have missed numerous recent appointments due to the notifications not showing. This is totally unacceptable when this is something people rely on especially as I pay for this service.

Been using it for years and its great. My only suggestion Is i would like to be able to attach files to events. Eg dr’s appointment: it would help if i could attach the letter with the full details of the appointment.

The amount of appts I’ve missed because I set a reminder, and then another reminder, and neither one ever actually notifies me!? Sick of it. Why can’t you help me with even the most basic of tasks: reminding me of something when I set a reminder?!?!? DELETED.

App icon doesn’t show the date for current day. Unacceptable for 2024 and a company of this size!

I really want to give 5 stars to this app. I use it continuously and I can keep track automatically of all my travels, meetings and personal arrangements. The only issue for me is that my plans normally normally span over the months, and I would really prefer to have the option to scroll continuously, vertically, across the weeks in the month view, instead of having to scroll horizontally to change months. This creates a discontinuity, since the last week of the current month gets replicated on the next month, which can be sometimes confusing. Otherwise, the best calendar app for integration of several schedules.

I save people’s anniversaries on my google contacts app and have synced it with google calendar. But sadly, the google calendar app shows the anniversaries as birthdays. This is super annoying
