I’ve been using the Google Chat app for a while now, and while it generally gets the job done, there’s a major issue that really disrupts the experience. Whenever I try to send photos, the app suddenly crashes. This has been happening consistently, making it incredibly frustrating to use for sharing media.

Can't rote screen on anything. Opening a picture or PDF and wanted to rotate to see it bigger, and you can't. However when you used the chats on the Gmail app you can. Awful experience.
Was contacted to say it's due to an issue on my phone but that's not the case since my whole department, all workers,  have the same issue.

Lack basic chat features : see who and when read the message. Both in chat and spaces. Free whatsup app and other has it. 
“Last seen” : basic chat feature not available. It was on old google hangouts. 
Bug in this last release: in home view the activity green dot does not work. 
I would expect much more for app that is not free for organizations
