Google Gemini

Google Gemini is amazing. I just wish there were actual privacy settings like Microsoft Copilot.

Really love the new Gemini app on iOS. The answers are thorough and easy to understand. They really get to the heart of what I am trying to ask for. Easy to use interface. Reminds me of the magic of Google.

answers quality is still low compared to chatgpt, perplexity etc. voice mode is nice touch though. No way to upload pdfs and image recognition is bad, doesn’t want to search any photo with people on it (like what movie is this?)

App crashes on startup, specifically after logging in and displaying the welcome message

Doesnt have any limits like chatgpt and more creative responses

Loved the web version, nice to see it finally on iPhone and with Gemini live

Looses context too often, isn’t very conversational. You have to remind it each time. Even though it allows you to take a picture often time it can’t describe what it’s seeing. I love Google but Gemini has been disappointing across several products. Except NotebookLM

Please fix Gemini Live, it speaks in random languages (formal and informal Arabic) when I’m speaking to it in English. Otherwise, superb app and welcome to iOS!!
