Google mini home has been telling me the same joke for over a month! I have tried unplugging and asking for a different t joke, but it doesn’t help. It’s very annoying.

The Nest app is simple, easy to browse the history, this app hangs checking the browsing history

Camera only shows 10 second clips if it sees motion AND you can only view “events” that have happened in the last 3 hours. You cannot view any history on the camera unless the camera has deemed it as event. This is almost useless as a security camera. “Something happens during the night” you will never know because your fancy google camera won’t show you because you only get the 3 hours of recent playback. So unfortunate…

Overall it works ok. Voice command is a nice feature. It does have to be rebooted on occasion, and like most modern devices can be a little quirky. I use mine strictly for music and so can't comment on other features.

Who Wants to Be A Millionaire was our absolute favourite game to play as a family at dinner time but then the game was discontinued. Please bring it back. It is the only game of its kind where it verbally reads you th question, and your family can stay off their phones and connect Also there is currently a bug where your playlist that is set to repeat will skip to some random other playlist. We notice this around th 4 hour marker out of 8 hours of listening our playlist switches from the designated playlist, which is set to play on repeat by verbally saying “ok google can you play this playlist on repeat. Verbal confirmation “okay this track will hkeep repeating.” Yet 4 hours in it changes to something else.

Love how convenient it is

I have several speakers and several cameras. They are all worse than the were2 years ago: slow to respond, often respond incorrectly, speakers don’t always connect, and trying to instantly view live cameras to speak over them live after a notification is just about impossible now (lags, freezes, buffering, videos don’t show until much later). With extremely high speed WiFi.

I use this primarily for my old nest cameras and new Google cameras - will this app ever be as good as the nest app? This app is terrible for the cameras, nest was so much better. I’d like to know before I waste more money on these cameras.

It’s asking me to enable location services but in my devices settings for the Google Home app there’s no option for location services affects all Apple devices

It crashes and closes the app when watching events on Google door bell.
