Whats with the constant updates
It would rank 5/5 if didn’t receive updates every single day. Every time when I google a place and click maps it takes me to app store. Sometimes even when there is no update it still loads the app store.

Gets worse annually
All those billions of google investment in AI servers only for this f*n app to increasingly suggest for you that you definitely need to get off the highway right now only to get back on the same highway 5 min later. Bring back the OG engineers, they knew what it meant to create an app that was beneficial for people.
Changing my rating
I'm downvoting Google Maps because of the all annoying and nonsense notifications you can't control. You can only turn off all notifications which makes the whole app unusable. Edit: One year later Google are incapable to allow you to control the notifications. Just hire some cheap AI to do it!
Bulgarian language support
There is no Bulgarian language support in the ios 18 google maps -> language menu
Last update
After the last update, the app always opens in Tulsa (USA) even though I’m in Bulgaria. It doesn’t show alternative routes and the distance/time calculations are incorrect.
