First timeline and now it’s the reminder to leave that’s messed up. I always set the reminder to leave in GM the night before. Today I went in to set it and I select tomorrow’s date, but the app only goes by the current date telling me I should leave now to get there at the earliest time. I know it was working Thursday, so maybe the update screwed it up. Older review: Today, I go in to look at my timeline and it says it didn’t record times today. I go into the settings and everything looked fine. I didn’t change anything. It had been recording up until today. I just now went back in and it started recording again. Please put it back to the old version! Old review:Why are messing with my Timeline? I’ve got it working now, but lost all of my history. I noticed that it’s not as accurate now to the minute as it was before. I really like and use this feature. 😞

The “time saving” suggestions have consistently added time to my drives, including making a 3 hour drive over 4. The traffic doesn’t update in a timely manner so I can see traffic completely stopped and Google has it as moving at regular speed. The fuel efficient routes default now even if they are significantly slower. The app is significantly worse than it was just a few years ago.

Update 07.28.24 No changes Buggy. Issues with adding detours/stops. Doesn’t work when you hit it to add it. Just a mess. Issues with glitching because of losing a steady gps.

Let me start with this, I was using this app on my Apple CarPlay to get somewhere, and somehow the app froze and also froze my whole apple CarPlay system, which I don't even know how thats possible. Whenever i make one little wrong turn the map takes forever to reroute, whereas when I use apple maps it is very fast at rerouting. I have also had experiences with google maps that has led me to a wrong place or has led me through construction that was not shown on the map, or a whole road closed and was not on the map, where is the updating Google?!! Apple maps has not let me down on having updates for me when there is construction in the area. Google maps has always let me down and I will not be downloading this app again.

Now the app won’t work to open links from safari maps open but doesn’t bring the data to open in the map
