Enough said

I’ve reinstalled this app a number of times over a few days- it keeps telling me that the zone ( in the heart of downtown) 5201 “does not exist” … ok, fine but that’s what is posted on all of the meters in the area, AND when I call park Tucson they say it’s not a problem on their phones, so it’s really my problem. (aka leave us alone lady) Fine. Then tell me WHAT ZONE CODE TO USE to pay the parking fees! No place on the app where you can look up the codes ( only if there’s a space available but it’s not specific to a requested area.) the App could really use a way to search a map for codes. At this point, we’re having to give out coins to customers who are having this problem…. Not good. I’d walk to Park Tucson offices to talk to someone but am temporarily disabled ( hence the on street parking)

520102 50 w. Franklin street parking lot sign clearly says 5 pm to 6 am. I got there at 5:53 pm and used the app and it charged me 3$ for only 7 minutes and then I had to do a new session and pay again to get it to go till 6 am. There's a word for that: thievery

The app works great and is easy to use. But I don’t use it because it charges a 25 cent “convenience fee” every time you park. so I pump quarters into the meters because it “convenience fee” adds up quickly. Quarters and nickels and dimes which I have plenty of and am happy to get rid of, but they have to pay someone to go around and collect them, count them, and deposit them. It doesn’t make any sense! It’s why every other city I’ve been to that uses apps like this don’t do this. But what do you do when you pull up to a meter and find out it’s not working? You’re supposed to use the app I suppose. Which rewards them for having a BROKEN METER by forcing me to pay the “convenience fee” for the privilege of parking at a VERY INCONVENIENTLY broken meter. And, of course, the app has no provision for reporting the said broken meter. Come on Tucson! Get with it. It’s as if you really didn’t want people to come downtown.

I usually use downtown parking outside of paid parking hours, when spaces are free. But at least for the last year and a half, when I enter the zone and space number, the app says “space unavailable“. So the messaging on the signage at the parking spaces conflicts with what’s happening on the app.

I thought this app would be a lifesaver because I didn’t have any coins for parking meter. The description for the app states that this app takes the stress out of parking. I did not find that to be the case at all. I tried several empty spots in a downtown parking lot (by the museum of art) and kept getting a message that the spot was unavailable. Each spot was very available because I had my car parked in them. Why offer a “convenient’ system if it’s not helpful at all. And apparently I can contact someone for assistance. In Tucson on a Sunday? If you do in fact want to increase business downtown didn’t actually make it easy to do so.

I’ve been getting this error for weeks and it seems they have no intention of fixing it. I’ve tried everything on my end.

The problem with this is, it’s a weekend. I’m trying to park, and the app won’t let me pay. I parked at 4pm, general parking expires at 5pm, then I must pay another fee for beyond 5pm. No problem. However, the app just keeps erroring out and doesn’t allow it. Obviously an error , but needs an immediate solution / fix! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
