Thousands of self-guided walking tours and travel articles in 1,500+ cities around the world are included in this handy app. No need to hop on a tour bus or join a tour group; now you can explore all the city attractions on your own, at your own pace, and at a cost that is only a fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided tour.
The app is designed to be used offline so No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either.
The app is free to download. Afterwards, you can evaluate the walking tours - see the attractions and use the fully functional offline maps included in each of the city walk guides, all for free. * A 3-day Free Trial is provided under each subscription upgrade offer. Your account will not be charged anything as long as you cancel the subscription at least 24 hours before the end of the Free Trial.
* Your annual subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
* Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store Account at the confirmation of the subscription purchase or after the Free Trial has completed.
* You may turn off the auto-renewal at any time from your Apple App Store Account settings.

Great walking day tour of Dubrovnik
I’ve spent most of the day following the introductory walk around Dubrovnik. With the pavements full of people, this tour covers the great sites but includes several that don’t attract the big crowds - and I felt privileged to follow this excellent guide. The final step was the cable car which I did one way @ €15, then walked down - it’s a long way and quite gradual but rough and good shoes are needed. Note signage to show the start of the track down is pathetic. It begins behind the fort, but I failed to find it without advice.

Have I phone x - bought upgrade and price well worth it - easy to use and able to independently explore cities with no guide books - has been great!

Paid subscription but still asking me to pay. Thieves
A bad app
I purchased this , downloaded the walks in the city of choice and as soon as I try to action a walk i get asked to pay more money for an upgrade!!!!
A great travel guide
This app allows you to download free travel articles and handy tips for hundreds of different places around the world. Pay a small fee to upgrade the app to get the guides to include GPS directions, enabling you to get around all the local attractions and also off the beaten track. Brilliant.
Have to hate it
I have an iPhone 4s running iOS7 and it just crashes very time I try to open it so have to give it * only as I can’t even see how it works
On my hardware it doesn
Well, my iPhone 3G is quite old, I understand that. But it doesn't load even on my iPad which is way more powerful.
Free versions not much use
I tried the free versions of the guides accessible from this app to trial it before buying the upgrade version. I decided it was not worth the space on my phone. I tried one map from CityMaps2Go and found that much more useful so I upgraded to their paid version for a small fee which gave me access to heaps of really useful maps at no further cost.
