The app is designed to be used offline so No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either.
The app is free to download. Afterwards, you can evaluate the walking tours - see the attractions and use the fully functional offline maps included in each of the city walk guides, all for free. A small payment – fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided group tour or tour bus tickets – is needed for accessing the walk route maps and activating turn-by-turn navigation functions.

* Your annual subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renewal is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.
* Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store Account at the confirmation of the subscription purchase or after the Free Trial has completed.

Rip-off
Bought several CityWalk apps and would need to repurchase them again as in-app maps of GPSmyCity since CityWalk is no longer maintained and owner moved those apps into the new one. Total Rip-off - stay away from unserious owner!

Excellent app, highly recommended
Love this app! Well worth the small price. It has allowed me to discover so many great places when traveling abroad and the gps maps (offline) just always come in handy. I have actually used this app in my hometown and seen it from a refreshingly different perspective. The team is friendly and supportive. Go for it!

Pour ne rien rater lors de vos visites.
War auf meiner Kreuzfahrt extrem nützlich
Hat auf der Kreuzfahrt diverse teure Exkursionen überflüssig gemacht. Habe im voraus alle Städte runtergeladen, wo wir anlegen würden. Angekommen, konnte ich ohne Datenverbindung gleich sehen, wo wir uns in Bezug auf die (Alt-)Stadt befinden, ob wir zu Fuss selber alles erkunden können, ein Taxi nehmen müssen, etc. Konnten dann auch nach der Erkundungstour die Anlegestelle des Schiffes wiederfinden. Ersetzt in grossen Städten keinen "richtigen" Reiseführer, aber für kleine Orte oft der einzige überhaupt erhältliche. Der Preis für all die In-App-Käufe ist aber sehr hoch. Zum Glück genügt auch die Lite-Version. Es hätte mich sonst 7 x 5.- gekostet, was unverschämt gewesen wäre. Darum auch "nur" 4 Sterne.

More spam than an actual working app
Terrible experience
At first this seemed like a great app but then things went downhill. My wife tried to download and purchase one of the plans. As the organizer of my family group a verification email was to be sent to my email address for confirmation. This never came even after 3 attempts. We decided that I’d buy the subscription and she’ll use my credentials. Well, this developer does not allow sharing (which is fine) but no FAMILY sharing? So now my wife has to get her own subscription to do a tour with her sisters and I with her brother even though we’re in the same city? Won’t be subscribing past the free trial. Oh, and the verification email finally came after I used my email address to sign up. Convenient, right?
