## GPX-Viewer Description
Import and view GPS eXchange format (GPX) files. GPX-Viewer offers a customizable display of GPX files exported from many GPS devices and other apps that create GPX files.

Import GPX files from the Cloud (includes iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc), your local device, or by using iTunes file sharing, email, a URL, or your pasteboard.

  - Customize your map: Apple Maps, Google Maps, OpenStreetMaps, or use a custom map tile source URL
  - Color customization for waypoints, track points, routes and tracks
  - Hide or show the waypoints, track points, routes or tracks on the map
  - Choose units: Metric, imperial, or nautical

  - Organize and quick-view files: Create folders to better organize your GPX files, and preview the tracks of all files within a folder
  - Import GPX files to the current GPX file
  - Send the waypoints to Apple Maps
  - Keep device from sleeping: Option to disable screen auto-lock

Create and share charts:
  - Y axis: Elevation or speed
  - X axis: Track points, distance, or time

Best GUI for any IOS GPS/map app I have encountered so far. Congrats! Highly efficient while occupying a minimum of screen space. H/V orientation switching works like a charm and the root level, one-click "files" button alone is worth using the app. Please keep up the bare bones approach!

If you like seeing your route displayed EXACTLY as you planned it, this is the app for you!
It’s basically a map viewer with live gps location follow, precise gpx route overlay and zero reinterpretation of your route.

My favorite features:

• Access GPX files directly from your icloud with 3 taps or email them to yourself and tap and hold to “open with GPX Viewer” directly from Mail.
• Toggle display of all gpx related info (route, track, trackpoints, waypoints)
• Set color & transparency of superimposed routes and tracks
• On the fly map style selection
• Beautiful map rendering (OSM outdoors and Google terrain are my favs)
• Omnipresent map scale for gauging distances
• Screen sleep disable for vehicle use

I used this app on my most recent Corsica motorcycle tour. GPX routes were made with the web based kurviger.de. For these files “show tracks” in prefs works best. If you’re planning a longer route with a large scope of zoom levels it helps to be in a country with a 3G/4G, but if you viewed the trip once at various zoom levels before venturing into backcountry, the offline cache works fine.
