Gradient keeps track of your current and predicted grades.
Ever wonder what score you need on an exam to get an A in the class? Of course you have. Because whether you're acing a class or failing, it feels better to know where you stand. Now you can see what scores you need for the grade you want.
Use Gradient to record your current grades –– and predict your final grades based on assignments that you have yet to complete.
Here's how it works:
1. Set parameters for a course you want to track: things like grading scale and whether certain sections of the course are weighted differently.
2. Enter scores for assignments you've completed ... and enter predicted scores for assignments you haven't done yet.
3. As you complete coursework, mark predicted assignments as "completed" and adjust your scores accordingly.
4. Keep up with your Gradient and experiment with predicted scores. The goal is all green!
Technical mumbo-jumbo:
All grades are calculated using numbers rounded to three decimal places. The percent value shown for grades does not display decimals. This is just to save space. The values are truncated, NOT rounded. For example, an 87.4 and an 87.5 will both show up as an 87. The letter grade depends on the grade scale you set. So, if you set a B+ as an 87.5, an 87.5 would show up as a B+ and an 87.4 would show up as a B.

A lot of the times the actual percentages were off and I would have to end up calculating them myself anyways. But I did like how you could predict grades.

I really love this app, it’s very simple and unique. But please support the new iPhone XS Max because now the app looks awful. Thanks!

Stylish and gets the job done!
Mostly good
Great simple way to keep track of points. Improvements needed: Date of entry to keep track of WHEN grade was listed. An option to describe what the grade was for, labeling which assignment was which or which test was which. Extra credit option. Semester or trimester divisions. Grade predictor should include what grade is necessary to achieve a certain goal.
Almost perfect app!
This app contains everything you need to keep track of your grades and it's so simple to use! I highly recommend it! My only 2 suggestions would be (1) to allow the user to name each assignment and (2) backup data to an online account in case the app gets deleted accidentally. Thank you very much for this app!!
Pretty good but
College students need numbers not just a letter grade
GPA tracker it ain't
I am a college student. I like to stay on top of my GPA. This one won't. If you want to know your letter grade, it's great. However, I deal in numbers, so having a letter grade doesn't really do anything for me. On the plus side though, I can enter in the wait. I'm on a search to find a GPA calculator that allows me to keep track of my cumulative GPA, allows me to have category weights, and let me enter in assignments. It appears that no one has created this in the App Store.
Great app, would recommend
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS APP IS GREAT. The only feature I wish it would have is if you could add extra credit. Whether it be EC by % of your grade or EC by points added to your point total it should let the weighted sections add up to over 100% when adding grades.
