Title. It’s refreshing and quite enlightening to see where something came from.

As a Canadian, it’s funny to see how almost all news in my country is a “blind spot for the right” because we barely have any right wing outlets up here compared to all our state run left wing media.

Great product and service. I love the factuality ratings and seeing the stories in my blind spot I’d miss otherwise.

I am not impressed by the coverage of breaking stories. Today Ukraine is invading Russia in the Kursk region, yet not a mention of that here. And it’s actually day 2, so that is not very good. I’ll give this news aggregator more time to impress me. So far I’m not sure I would renew my subscription.

I have used this app to assist me to gauge the veracity and the bias via the tools it provides to premium members. The world of journalism is driven by emotion and being able to free yourself and look from outside is exactly what I look for when I want to digest information. Cheers

The world is a lot more nuanced than “left and right” and news coverage today isn’t always too divergent. I can see how this app appeals to the the average partisan american/canadian audience living in a reductive “liberal/conservative” political overton window. But in todays tribal climate, it’s not hard to see how an app like ground news would be appealing. I’d like to see how articles get their left/right score. It feels like they’re drawn on simplistic party/media lines (Fox News right, msnbc left). This isn’t actually that helpful or honest. Hopefully it can improve in this respect going forward. Great UI and design tho. I’m glad someone is trying to make sense of the news — even in baby steps.

Free thinkers would appreciate getting rid of this false paradigm and embrace the limitless perspectives.

The app promotes far right news and content, many times promoting conspiracy theories. They bragged on social media about being mentioned and promoted by Trump during his presidency. So if you want Trump-promoting news, this is for you. If not, it’s not worth your time.

I have had this app since it appeared in the Apple Store. I now use it for the majority of my news. I appreciate the bias notices & factuality ratings. In this new world of blatant propaganda , it is critical to be able to see these assessments, and how my biases are reflected in my news viewing.

Great app! Only issue is that it is missing the option to hide read articles with premium even though it’s an advertised feature.
