Works great with VoIP.ms
Wow! I actually found an app that works with my VoIP.ms service! I tried Zoiper, but you have to pay a yearly fee just to get push notifications when a call is coming in, and Zoiper SMS didn’t work unless I had the app open. Groundwire SMS works flawlessly when the app is closed and phone is in standby mode. Phone calls come through perfectly as well! I use voip.ms for my home phone. I’m a millennial and yes, I still use a home phone LoL. Mostly for work. I like to have my Zoom meetings call my VoIP line so I can walk around the house and not have to carry my computer around. I could use my cell phone, but some meetings can last for hours and I don’t want to chew up my iPhone’s battery over the years. A few family members and friends have our home phone number. Groundwire is great because it lets me answer their calls on the go and they don’t have to try me at home first and then my cell phone. Great work Groundwire!
