Guardian by Elexa (New)

On my iPhone after entering my username and password the user agreement screen doesn’t accept me clicking on “I agree”. I have scrolled all the way to the bottom but I will not advance past this. This makes my valve controller worthless! Fix it.

Hardware and concept are great but software and app are terrible. Tech support is non-existent. It has been like this for years.

The actual valve control and sensors are great, much better than Phyn. The only problem is the app was ok, but than they released a new in-house software and it was terrible. Impossible to reconnect devices, and trying to get support is even worse. After 2 years I finally gave up and returned the whole kit to Costco for a full refund.

Does turn off valve when remote sensor activated.

My system simply does not work with this new app.

I can’t even add my location let alone connect to my device. I’m supposed to have faith this will protect me from a leak when I can’t even connect to it?

New App (3.1.9) does connect to the shutoff valve. Also the sensors stopped working with the valve. So I have nothing that works and no protection.

After updating software my water valve system quit working, waiting for bug fixes.

You’ll never keep it online. Terrible app and software. Made a ticket about a forced OTA FM update and went to their FB user group to troubleshoot many, many bugs in the rollout and found many in my boat. After threatening to be banned, was finally promised a refund. Emailed Elexa Admin JDS like asked with receipts and was told he wouldn’t accept my return and banned me from the page. Never would have made an issue publicly had they not ignored me. Now I’ve got emails, receipts and screenshots of all their shadiness. Stay away.

The new app is great, works flawlessly. Now I can say the guardian system has great software to go along with the great hardware. Thanks to the guardian team for working so hard to give users a great experience!
