Not intuitive and really hard to sync with the Apple Watch
Wicked app. Been trying to find something to work with my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and count reps plus log all the info I need as well as tell me what exercise I’m on weight and sets etc. this does it all. Had to subscribe to pay monthly to get a trial or full package but then it works amazing. I’ll defo keep it running
Glitchy. Slow to load exercise menu. Wouldn’t sync with watch. Couldn’t even get one workout. Wasted 1 hour in the gym trying to make it work - avoid
Stopped working after many years of joy
This app seemed like a great idea for keeping me on track in the gym. However, it would be great if I could actually use Apple to sign up and sign in. Once the app prompts me to use Face ID to sign using Apple, it crashes and won’t actually sign me in and gives me the log in page again. If that could be fixed then I will give it a fair shot. But for now it has to be 1 star.
Great functionality but needs a serious UI upgrade it make to enjoyable to use on both Phone and Apple Watch. It needs bringing into 2022s standards.
The USP of this app is that it tracks velocity of the lift and yet it doesn’t work on the iPhone (only on Apple Watch) and it doesn’t offer any way to track the velocity of EACH lift. In fact the only way to track each rep is after the workout has finished in the iPhone app which misses the point somewhat. It shows the average velocity of the set just completed in the watch app but again after the event - the point of VBT is to sense a drop in velocity on a rep by rep basis. The watch app is tricky to use. It’s more about trial and error which gets infuriating after a while because the buttons and long presses to achieve whatever it is you want to achieve are not logical. Lots of ghost reps and it won’t start the next set if you set a fixed rest period while building the workout in the iPhone app. Next to useless in my opinion and there are better apps to trust reps and sets in the traditional style.
By the time I’ve managed to synchronise the workouts created on my phone to my watch, I’ve lost the will and most of the time I have to actually work out.
Good idea, and a great app when it works. Kicks me out of workouts and loses track of last completed exercise since last update
Quick to add and design your workouts - helps you to discipline yourself. Movement detector quickly learns your workout. Developer is really responsive - sorted a glitch I had quickly - recommended
