Shows are great, the selection is fun, but the app is terrible. Randomly crashes and isn’t functioning for hours. Delayed subtitles and wiped all my downloads on a long car ride. Half the time the app doesn’t even open or the shows won’t load.

I want to renew my subscription but surprisingly I can only renew for 6 months or a year the subscription button for 1 month doesnt work. While thats the subscription I want, looks like its done on purpose because the other 2 subscription cost more money. Oh well…sadly for you guys I will not be renewing my subscription.

Subtitles won’t work or aren’t in sync. I only watch on my mobile and I do not share my account with others, or been hacked, but still get the “Too many devices” notification. I just came by, since I’m watching an episode on Hayu, and for a while now they whole subtitle thing is bothering me. So I sorted to most recent reviews and a lot of people already complained about the synchronicity of the subs. Could you fix this asap, we are paying customers and this annoys the hell out of me, especially since you can’t even deal with simple synchronisation. Need more people complaining in order for you to fix this?

Subscribed to Hayu online and downloaded the app for iPad - what a frustrating experience…
Subtitles switch themselves off mid-episode, after pausing the app crashes, between episodes the app crashes, when trying to download 3 episodes clicking the ‘download’-button caused error messages to appear after two succesful downloads, when playing to downloaded episodes after managint to watch the first episode successfully the app refused to play the second downloaded episode, and when I the tried to restart the app after reestablishing a wificonnection the app didn’t open at all anymore, it just froze on the opening screen with the Hayu logo.
Wow, hadn’t expected this after paying almost the price of a Netflix subscription for a fraction of the content - delivery of the content to paying customer because of failing tech should not be your biggest issue in this contested market for paying content subscribers…

I’ve had the app for some time as it’s the only one streaming the show I am watching. The app crashes several times a day. My subscription expired but as I wasn’t done with my show, I extended. I have a confirmation of the subscription and all but in the app it tells me to sign up again. So for an hour I have been trying to get it to work. I had the same last time and it tooo a few DAYS until I finally had access. 
Hayu people, I clicked on support and get forwarded to the web instead of in-app assistance. It tells me to log in but refuses my login. Can you please fix it? This is frustrating! Can’t leave this message on support site so this is my only option.

This is the glitchiest streaming app I’ve ever used. Constantly stops playback even if the episode is downloaded. Constant errors saying that the account is being used on multiple screens even though I’ve only ever signed in on my phone and am the only person with the password. The buttons on the screen are not responsive enough. The only plus is that the content catalog is quite extensive but it’s almost not worth the frustrations with the app.
