The app is extremely glitchy. It is the only app on my devices that freezes continuously and always needs to be closed and reopened. The subtitles for all the shows are super delayed from when they speak. And its the only tv app which doesnt stop playing a series after not having any interaction for a while, unlike netflix disney etc. I only use the app because I have to but it is the most frustrating app to use

Would rate it a 0 if I could as I can’t use the app at all. It hasn’t been working for over a month and a half, Home Screen loads and then once you press on anything it seems to shut down and nothing loads anymore. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling, might get passed one more click but it never lets me watch anything. App barely works even when shows load, either the audio goes, says I’m watching on too many screens or just completely shuts down when I’m watching something. Customers should get a refund on their subscriptions as we are paying for something we cannot access. I will cancel my subscription if this is not sorted this month and I will be asking for a refund for the last two months. Customers who pay yearly should also receive a discount as we are being conned.

I have had Hayu since the beginning and there has always been countless issues with the app. Customer service tell you to remove the app and redownload, restart your device, sign out and sign in again etc.  but the issues still occur. The app is just awful and needs a serious upgrade. This year I paid for my subscription yearly and now the app does not work at all on my iPad. Utterly pointless having as I can’t use! Shock, customer services don’t care. The only attraction to Hayu is all of the trash reality TV, hopefully someday soon another streaming site can take over these programmes so Hayu can be done for good!

Most days I can’t get past a black screen with the rotating symbol in the middle. I’ve deleted and re downloaded more times than I can count. I only keep my subscription because I actually want to watch the shows. I’m looking into where I can watch them elsewhere and then I’ll be off and not recommending hayu at all. Sort it out! If I was this bad at my job/providing a service, I’d be fired.
