What is the point of having the app bind to your eSIM when you can access net banking on the web without outgoing SMS? What additional security do you get? I don’t have outgoing SMS as I’m traveling, I only have incoming SMS. Have alternative log in mechanisms, not just outgoing SMS. For the sake of security, you’ve just made our lives inconvenient. And no, I will not contact your customer support, enough people have complained about this, fix it by adding alternative ways to log in.

Seriously what is they point of locking me me our of the old app which was bad enough but at least worked, and now I cannot use either …
I know that HDFC is a mediocre excuse for a company, but did not expect this even from them. 
Since they messed up my credit card application 
I have been seriously considering leaving this rubbish bank, now I am determined to migrate to another one asap .
Even with an imperia account, there is absolutely no service or support of any kind. This is the end of the road for my journey with is slovenly enterprise

I am currently traveling abroad and was forced to download the new version of your app. Unfortunately, it is not verifying my SIM with my India eSIM, which has left me unable to access critical banking services.

This is not just a convenience issue — banking is an essential service, especially while traveling. Unlike a game or entertainment app, this cannot be postponed or ignored. If the app cannot handle real-world scenarios like international travel or eSIM usage, it undermines trust and reliability.

I strongly urge you to make the app more robust and ensure that all scenarios — including overseas usage and eSIM verification — are properly supported. Banking customers need seamless and dependable access anytime, anywhere.

The fonts inside the app is too small, it strains the eyes to read anything. Also recently I started getting error messages while trying to login saying "make sure you use the device with same Sim and registered mobile number " which I am using. Again sometimes it starts to work on it's own and again gives the error automatically sometimes.
