Battlegrounds are pretty much unplayable on iPad right now, because it keeps crashing. Update - Autumn 2024. Again, I love this game. But losing matches or battlegrounds time and again because the game just crashes is infuriating.
Only game I play at the moment. Would recommend to anyone.
Regardless of being on wifi or cellular it frequently just disconnects from the game, and you have to restart the app to reconnect, and you better hope there’s no updates to do if you restart the app because it will freeze indefinitely if there is. This has been the case for years now, one of the biggest developers in the world and they can’t get this right, shameful.

I was going to write a review….but I need to download a 3.1gb update first before I can finish my review
In the last few weeks the game started a 3gb update more than 20 times. I’m 10 minutes into yet another update and I’m looking at 380mb/3gb downloaded. This is not a functional game..
Guys if you do another update that is 3gb again I’ll delete this game
I rating the three stars for the idea of the card game and two stars deducted from the bad experience when i played. There is something wrong after every update. I am wandering Do you really have working abilities to fix it? Or you may be need some break to visit doctor to fix your eyes.
Game is ok. Definitely freemium. Free to play, but pay to win once you reach a certain point. I can accept that. What I find unacceptable is the stability. Crashes regularly and loses connection to server regularly also. Makes for extremely frustrating gameplay. Stability remains a major problem since I wrote this originally, on iOS 16.7.5 and iPad A1822. Also nerf beasts already for heaven’s sake.
I’ve tried installing, uninstalling and re installing several times and it never runs just crashes on open, worst port I’ve ever seen
