## Índice de calor Description
A primeira ferramenta "Índice de Calor" que usa a equação de Lans P. Rothfusz.

[Descrição]
O Índice de calor é um índice que combina temperatura do ar e umidade relativa, em áreas sombreadas, que é a sensação de "quente" ou "frio" que é sentido; isso se deve não apenas à temperatura do ar, mas também a outras condições ambientais, como umidade e vento.

O Índice de calor foi desenvolvido em 1979 por Robert G. Steadman.
O cálculo do Índice de calor é um refinamento de um resultado obtido por análise de regressão múltipla realizada por Lans P. Rothfusz e descrita em um Anexo Técnico do Serviço Nacional de Meteorologia (NWS) de 1990 (SR 90-23).

O Índice de calor também é conhecido como "temperatura do ar sentida", "temperatura aparente", "sensação real" ou "sensação".
A umidade do ar pode aumentar a sensação de calor, enquanto o vento pode aumentar a sensação de frio.
Por exemplo, quando a temperatura é de 32°C (90°F) com 70% de umidade relativa, o Índice de calor é de 41°C (106°F).
