App crashes all the time. It’s useless. I would give it zero stars but it doesn’t allow me to. Please bring back IVMS-4500.

I’m trying to playback but it’s not working

Since a few updates back all my iPhones need to close the app and restart it each time I want to see the cameras

For the past two months on the new versions of this app whenever you open it no cameras show. Have re-installed. You need to close the app each time and refresh and wait

Another Update with the same frustrating bug on the Hik-Connect app. When viewing cameras in grid view (e.g., 9x9), selecting a camera to view in full screen results in a gray screen after loading to 100%. To resolve this, I need to slide to another camera and then back to the original one to view the image

This app works fine on a PC but it is useless on your phone. It often says “number of streaming channels exceeded” and will not play the video when trying to watch the playback. This means that if you are in an emergency and need to look at the cameras for a previous time then you simply can’t

Earlier versions had better functionality. The latest update no warning that one has to logon again. Unable to use remote or lan monitoring on cell phone or tablet anymore. Using a monitor connected to nvr is not practical. Goodbye hikvision. Sad to see you go!

After downloading a video the option of viewing downloaded footage is gone. It cannot be found anywhere.

Hik-Connect is a great app that works very well. Was easy to setup and connect cameras system. My only suggestion is to add a dark mode feature as opening the app at night can be very bright even when phone brightness is low.

I am not happy with the latest update. The Home Screen arm/disarm (notification enable/disable)is not easily accessible nor visible. I much rather preferred the icon being displayed under the camera views where you could easily see if the alarms for the cameras were active or not. This feature is especially useful when there are 3 or more people operating a system for their home base. Please change it back to what it was previously!
