Transferring files can be a problem
I’ve been trying to transfer audio files from this app to Hindenburg Lite on my laptop. Still not working after weeks of trying and waiting for technical support from the developers.

Hesitated to purchase this App due to the higher price in comparison to others. As with most things, you get what you pay for. I use this for professional recording such as broadcast and podcast. It's very intuitive and speaks to Hindenburg Desktop program seamlessly. I use a Vericorder XLR connector with 3.5mm headphone monitor jack, into a Seinnheiser MD42 which makes perfect quality audio. Very happy with this purchase and the help via twitter was great too.
After trying several different recording apps for the iPhone I have found this to be the best overall package, the iPhone app gives great recording quality and will handle very long recordings with ease, it is well integrated into the desktop application and allows several different methods of file transfer. I had a problem with transferring files and the people at Nsaka fixed it within a few hours. Highly recommended.
Hindenburg Mobile. Designed as a radio interview app, HM has some of the most extensive recording and editing features of all the voice recorders in the app store. The list of features is awesome, and can be seen in the app description. It can : • record, playback, edit prev recordings, has a stretchable realtime waveform that allows exact editing. • can insert and append. ( Insert only by recording a segment, cutting, and pasting it.) • Can locate down to individual words, which, in turn, allows you to place markers that are bookmarks, (listed and can be edited) • mark sections exactly so can be cut, copied, pasted anywhere, or saved as favourites. • can fade segments in, out and crossfade • can mark segments and adjust segment volume • Has file transfer facilities. • has volume boost control, so playback volume is very good. • each time you start and stop it marks that bit as a "take", so can be used as a Things to do list. When done, tap, and cut to remove it. What it CAN'T do:- • Can't insert a segment directly in a recording. A most useful feature that is missing. You have to record a segment at the end, cut, locate the place to insert, and paste. • no voice activated recording. You have to start and stop if you are looking up notes, or thinking about what to say next. You can mark and cut blank sections later, but this is tedious. Needs a variable input volume threshold setting when VAR added. That's it. Everything else is there! With the addition of these two features, it would have everything possible in a recorder. You wouldn't need any other. Worth the money!
Please update this app. It needs mp3 functionality at the very least. Thank you.
Being a professional sound tech, I searched for a long time for no-frills professional recording app. Hindenburg does the job. A no-nonsense interface fills the screen the moment the app opens up. Setting levels is a snap and the volume level indicators make it obvious immediately whether you’re recording in mono or stereo. Sharing files is also just what you’d expect from a well-designed app. Hindenburg has just what I need - and even more importantly - I don’t have to wade through a bunch of cartoon-like garbage to make a recording. One MAJOR omission, though (which is forcing me to use another app) is its lack of ability to recognize and use a Bluetooth mic. If you fix this one fault, I’ll come back home to Hindenburg… thx
It’s everything you would want except a lot of audio is required to be mp3. I’m surprised that it’s not available. Other than that it’s great.
I use Hindenburg on my computer to record my podcast and now I have this field recorder which works awesomely. Thanks for all your good work. Watch the YouTube video tutorials to learn how to use it. It’ll take you less than 10 minutes and you’ll be good to go.
One of the reasons I got this was that it is supposed to work with Journalist Pro. There is not an easy and straightforward means to import directly into Journalist. The import an iOS feature in Journalist does not even work.
On my iPhone 6S plus with IOS 11, the gain slider is almost invisible!! And doesn’t appear to do anything. Gain control is THE reason to use this app, along with the excellent metering. Where are the undo/redo controls? Editing is just weird. Would love if I could get some support...
