Changed my WiFi provider now it won’t let me readd my washing machine after deleting it / contacted support and have received absolutely no response what so ever.

In theory this app should be good.
I have a hoover dryer with connectivity for this app.
Pairing it was easy but that is the end of the good points.
There are a lot of customisable programmes that you can start/stop from the app…. In reality, the dryer has a default programme and timer and this app simply turns the dryer on or off. No programmes actually work/do anything different.
Have spoken with customer support for about 6 months now but they still can’t work out the issue

### **--- "Machine is excellent, App is rubbish"
The washing machine is excellent, but the app is awful. There are three main issues with it:
A) you have to put the washing machine into remote control manually before starting the app, otherwise they do not connect. When they do connect, it often takes between five and ten minutes, it should be seconds.
B) if you select a program to run, it may or may not actually run that program rather than the default total care program. That is very annoying.
C) if you set a time to start and a program, it often (50%of the time) just sits there with a bar flashing, but does not actually start the program and you get up in the morning and nothing has happened. This is the most annoying of the three.
There is also another issue, annoying rather than anything else, and that is to do with the timer itself. With Miele I can set the dishwasher to start at any time I like, down to a minute. That means I can set it for two minutes past the hour to make sure I’m in the cheap electricity period. With HON, I can only select half hour periods, but worse than that, the half hour starts at the same minute that you’re trying to set the program. For example, I want to set the washing machine to start at 02:02 ( not that it is likely to start anyway, see above comment), but if it is (for example) 22:17 when I’m setting it, I can only select 02:17 or 02:47. What a ridiculous restriction!!

In summary, the Hoover washing machine is great, it is good value and worth buying. However, the app is so bad it really lets the side down, I cannot recommend this app to anyone.

Has to be one of the worst apps out there, constantly crashes, reloading it does nothing, it says I have no appliances on the app but when I try to add them, says they can’t be added as they are already registered

I’m looking forward to add a number of HAIER appliances to this app. I’ve already added an American fridge freezer and a tumble dryer. So far I’ve been using the remote control facility for the tumble dryer and it is mostly useful. There’s a number of drying options that I am beginning to use but there is a lot of options to make full use of the device. 
So I’m impressed with the app.
Update comments. The preci synch function for my Hood and the induction hob no longer works automatically. When I first configured the function it automatically started and stopped when the hob was turned off. It used to automatically adjust the speed of the hood but for some reason it no longer works automatically and you have to manually power off or use the app to reset and shut off.

### **--- "Unreliable at best"
Hasn’t fully worked since I got it. Machine is fine but app software is terrible. With each update comes a new set of problems that often don’t even fully resolve the problems that were there previously. Buggy and poorly tested. They have customers who have complained about issues do the testing for them after they launch an update. Have wasted hours trying to get it sorted and now the remote function doesn’t even work. As soon as I try to start a remote program on the app the machine disconnects and switches to a machine cotton cycle. Only way to clear the issue is to unpair, delete the app and account and set up from scratch, fresh pairing to machine etc just for the problem to happen a few weeks later. Utter rubbish

The App worked perfectly when we first got our washer-dryer. Now it is glitchy, slow and lags constantly. Finding it hard work to even set a simple cycle from the app. Pointless having a remote app when it is useless!

1. Since the last update, the search function no longer works. 
2. 100% custom cycle has never worked, and this would be perfect if worked. 

Otherwise, I like the app functionality, especially the keep fresh at the end. The clothes weight for each item is very handy. I also like the reminders for maintenance. 
Suggestion: it would be even better if you could set the cycle to finish on a keep fresh tumble at the beginning of the cycle, as I sometimes miss the notification if out.

Every time an update gets rolled out for this app, it’s touch and go as to whether or not it will break functionality with devices. The 23 December update no longer sends accurate programs to the tumble dryer, so not only does it end the cycle prematurely but it also doesn’t heat up at all. This is not the first time this has been an issue.

Setting it up was easy, though trying to find how to remove the virtual wine cellar not so much. Very odd thing to force upon people without asking, just assuming everyone drinks alcohol 😐 

Anyway, I’ve used it for a week and it only notifies me about 50% of the time when the dryer has finished, there’s no pattern to it, it just works when it wants to. This was the only reason I wanted a Wi-Fi dryer, as I can’t hear that it’s finished if I’m not in the same room. Nothing wrong with my Wi-Fi connection either. 

The fact that you have to turn the machine off and on again and let it re-pair to the app EVERY TIME you want to put the next load in just wastes the time you save by using the app at all. I’d stop using the app altogether and just use the buttons on the machine, but does this mean I wouldn’t get any notifications at all? Not sure.

And please get rid of the Eco setup prompt which I have to say no to every time I start a cycle, I am on single rate, I’m sick of telling it. Yes, it’s switched off in the settings, yet it keeps asking me before I can click start.

Fix the above and this app could really be useful. I used the Candy (same company) Simply-Fi app for my washing machine and it was flawless, this app leaves a lot to be desired! Wish I could just use the Simply-Fi app for my dryer to be honest but computer says no 😔

The app is good, very handy for picking from a wide range of cycles for my washer. The app is quite slow though. Things load in a really odd way. It's as though every single action has to reload a bunch of data every time, so things take a while to update when you choose anything. 
But I tend to dread updates for the app because quite often something breaks after an update, or doesn't work as smoothly. This time, programme search isn't working properly. It does nothing for about 15 seconds, then displays the loading icon, then does nothing again. At some random interval, the list filters for your search, sometimes. 
Also can't seem to save a schedule - it says loading... Loading... Then ready, and the programme isn't scheduled. 
The joys of a connected world. I wish it would just save a local copy of the programmes, and connect locally to the washing machine, rather than everything having to go through a server which just causes problems.
