The game itself is ok, the gameplay and functions are similar yet also distinct with other games such as Mobile Legends and Wild Rift, but the some infuriating problems that some people have also pointed out and they haven’t fixed it yet. 

First is the matchmaking process. In these kind of online strategy games, there are usually 3 sides: a winning match that feels far too easy, a so-and-so match, and a match where the opponents just crush you easily right from the start. In HOK, the first one and last one are highly prevalent, and to me, the game seems to always put the player in a losing match if the player win a match on the same day, or the player has a winning streak. 

The other problem is that in the game itself, for that particular match, there is no way to feedback whether the opponent is too easy or too overpowered. There should be such feedbacks so as to collect more data and help put a system such that the matchmaking system can fare better and give everyone a better and fairer gameplay. 

Overall, the game is enjoyable and fun to play, if you don’t mind the above problems. However, if you want to grind to a high rank, I suggest you go find other games such as Mobile Legends or Wild Rift, and those games are way more enjoyable in terms of matchmaking and fair play.
