Delicious food, friendly staff and “the price is right”!

I love Hook, but the app is inconvenient because I can’t modify my order. For example, I like to order the Bistro Sandwich and I can’t order it on a wheat bun. I have to call the order in just to make this change which means I can’t pay ahead of time. Super inconvenient.

This app is convenient and helpful, especially when you are trying to avoid going inside the restaurant during the pandemic. However, there is no option on the app or online to pay with a gift card. This forces the user to either go inside to order/pay or go somewhere else for lunch/dinner. I was looking forward to this as I received a gift card for Christmas. But as a high risk person I cannot go inside to order/pay so I’m forced to go somewhere else. Please update the app to allow gift cards as a form of payment. I wish I was able to order on the app.

When trying to place an order, I realized my card had expired. There was no simple, intuitive way to change payment method from the order screen. I had to backtrack out to the home page, find my account, then manage cards, Etc. If there is a simpler way, it wasn’t where I could find it...therefore, I stand by my criticism.

It works but the options are not great. Tweaking orders is a bit limited -no area for notes on each order.

There is no place to make a request or add ketchup or any other regular condiments to my burgers. Give us a text box!

1. After tapping a previous order, can’t delete the order to start over. 2. If the order contains multiple of the same type of item, can’t tap a particular item to customize it. For example, if you tap the 2nd or 3rd burger to edit, you always end up editing the 1st.

In the store you can select beef, turkey, etc for any style burger but the app doesn’t offer this or have a comment window for your order. Thus still need to call it in. Love the food and local store, but app is weak unfortunately.
