## HotStock - in Description
HotStock is the only app that tracks the stock and price of hard-to-get products in real-time!

Trying to get hold of must-have products? Be notified when they're back in stock. Products range from the new Pokemon, Playstation 5 (PS5), Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X console bundles, Meta Quest, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 4080 / 4090 graphics cards, Ninja air fryer, LEGO, Magic Mixies, Gabby's Dollhouse, Barbie dolls, CoCoMelon through to other hard-to-get tech and toys. 

Just find the product you're interested in, then click the ALERT ME button and we'll instantly send you a notification when it's back in stock and available to buy. 

We track them so you don't have to. There's no need for you to keep checking when they're back in-stock, or stay logged in to every retailer's website. 

You'll never have to miss out on that must-have product again! When you get our notification, compare prices and quickly buy before it goes out of stock again.

Premium/AutoBuy tier subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and will identify the cost of the renewal. You may manage and turn off auto-renewal after purchase by going to your Apple Account Settings.

So the app does give you notifications of your product of choice, however it gives them to you late unless you pay for their instant notification monthly payment plan. 
All free users have to wait a few minutes, making this an unreliable app unless you want to fork out the money.

Overall a great resource! I only used the free option, so I didn’t receive alerts as quickly as those with a paid subscription or those with “auto buy” subscription, so it took me about 2 weeks of clicking alerts dozens of times a day but I finally got the item I was looking for in the nick of time for delivery before Christmas.
It would be much better if they checked stock on a wider range of stores though.
The most annoying part was the amount of times I got the item in my cart but was gone when I hit checkout. That one’s on the store website itself not HotStock.

Originally I was only trying to get a PS5 disc drive but decided I wanted all the 30th anniversary items too. I tried autobuy for one month and it helped me pick up a disc drive, 30th dualsense, 30th dualsense Edge, and on the last day of my one month it got me a 30th Portal. More than satisfied with the app!

### **--- "A useless Misleading premium subscription"
I used the free version for a week and decided to purchase the $14.99 per month for auto buy service since they were advertising their auto buy feature so much. Their instructions were simple; just keep the app running for the auto buy feature to work after I have authorized my amazon account with hotstock account and set up the auto buy for a product. 

Turns out, when the product comes back in stock, this app does mot automatically starts the purchase process unless the app is opened by tapping the notification of “back in stock”. This is a misrepresentation of the auto buy feature and also a huge inconvenience for me. 
They advertised to keep the app running in the background for it to work but does not starts until the app is manually opened it. 
I work nights and sleep during the day when most of the stock comes back and I miss all notifications. 
Defeats the purpose of paying for a subscription that literally says auto but do not work automatically.

The only convenience it offers is it automates the checkout steps and not having to waste time doing them which I have not personally experienced to say anything
