Check in is bad
Cool idea. Really neat initiative by UH, but if you can’t check in when you’re at the facility, that defeats a lot of the purpose.

Not sure who wrote the requirements for this app, but the experience makes me believe either the development was outsourced and success criteria during testing was superficial. Let me explain… Creating an account for the app is relatively simple for first time user, but it is not the same login to access your tickets and a separate account is required for pride rewards which is within the app itself(one more account to remember; hopefully there is a plan to have pride rewards, app and tickets management under one login). Yes you read that right. You must create a separate account with in the UH Cougars app for the rewards. The menu is a layer across the bottom of the screen in grey color and solid grey header at the top which looks disjointed and is a poor UI design choice. When clicking on schedule icon you are brought to a calendar with no ability to filter for any sport. So if you wanted a quick glance at basketball games coming up, good luck clicking through each day until you find it. There is no ability to add the event date to the calendar in your phone for easy reminders either which needs to be a feature added. Clicking on the rewards icon (on the bottom menu) pulls up a card which requires first time users to setup another account. After setup, it tells you ways to earn points for each scheduled game for various actions: watching on tv/stream (not sure how it tracks as I have not used it), attendance by tracking your location via the app (even with precise location and Wi-Fi in Fertitta , the app thought I was too far from the event to give me points smh, arrive before the event early and stay after a certain time). So the biggest issue as stated is the poor location tracking which leaves me unable to get points for attending w my season tickets. Also, the rewards tab has its own menu buttons at the bottom for Home, Schedule, Prizes, Offers and Discounts and More which was confusing thinking Home meant the main apps Home Screen. So this appears to be an app within an app. Often a 5-8s delay when clicking one of the buttons on the menu which makes you think the app is frozen. I created an account when opening the app for the first time but when I occasionally open the app later and navigate to the,You, icon (account management), it shows I am not logged in and must login again even though I can access everything as normal. Then there is another 6-10a delay for it to update you are logged in. TL;DR 1. Fix UI issues; modernize app menu ic
For some reason, you have to log into the app, and then log in a separate time when you click on the rewards tab. Then it tells you that your password is invalid.
