### *---- "BOOOOOO the new update 👎🏼"
This update is a HUGE downgrade. Why fix something that wasn’t broken?! The worst part is that features that were FREE before are now locked behind a paywall. Seriously?!

The old Howbout was simple, clean, and easy to use. Now it’s confusing, unnecessarily complicated, AND you’re being asked to pay for things you used to get for free.

And PLEASE bring back the original color coding! It made everything so easy to see at a glance.

1 star because I can’t give 0. 😭

I used to love this app and had been using it since 2024. The best thing about this app was you could colour coordinate everything yourself. So it was easy for me to separate my shifts in this app. Now they have ruined it and my entire colour coordinated calendar has been changed to colourless going back 2 years and forward 3 months. Shame on you guys, no one asked for this

The new update is bad, before you were able to pick from so many different colors and now the new update makes it so that you cant. My app used to be organized and colorful now its so bland and ugly because I only get to choose from 5 or six different colors. The new update would have been fine if they didn’t change it so that you have to pay for everything now or if they let you use the same amount of colors to organize everything from before. I used to love this app now it’s just… bad

This app is really great and I’ve been using it for years, but as usual it’s starting gouging for money, adding new features for a subscription is one thing. But taking away the ability to colour code things unless you pay is ridiculous. I have two jobs, go to school full time, I hike, go to the gym, have doctors appointments, hanging out with friends, payday, test days I want to highlight, and more. But that all has to fit in a few general categories and they took away colours that used to be FREE, ones that I have been using for specific occasions for years. 

So so disappointing how they ruined this app.

Going to have to start looking for a new app.

howbout i love you, you’re a good app, but unfortunately you’re too money hungry now. like what is this new update?? u making different app themes not free was understandableish but now i only have to pick from 5 colors for my calendar invites and the rest you have to pay for?? it’s pissing me off. what about the people who don’t have money to spend, should they just delete howbout? because at this rate, soon you’ll have to pay to download. 💔💔

At first, I was genuinely in love with this app. I recommended it to so many friends, and now I’m honestly embarrassed that I put them onto it. They decided to make an update that completely destroyed the colour coding system. Like, I spent so much time organizing everything, just for them to limit me to FIVE colour categories that I can’t change unless I pay for premium. 

I’m NOT paying for premiums just to get back features that were originally free.

I used to love this app and rely on it everyday. All of my close relatives and friends knew I used this app because of how much I talked good about it. Today I logged onto the app and it got rid of all my colour coding and sorting. I heavily relied on the colour coding on this app to see when I had work shifts, and meet ups with my friends. The only way to retrieve it is if I pay and purchase premium. I am not paying to view my own calendar.
