Leider ist die APP veraltet, wird den aktuellen IOS Versionen und ihren geänderten Schnittstellen nicht mehr angepasst.

Was zum Teufel ist das für eine grottenschlechte App? Funktionalität und vor allem das Design ist einfach in der Zeit stehen geblieben. Das allererste IPhone lässt grüßen

Aber darüber kann man halt immer noch hinweg schauen, wenn denn das Drucken reibungslos funktioniert.. Aber nein! Der Drucker ist angeblich ständig offline

Bis vor Kurzem (iOS 18?) war die App schlecht aber nutzbar. Seit dem werden Dokumente aber nicht mehr direkt zum Druck ausgewählt, sie landen in der Dokumente-Liste, schön versteckt und nicht auffindbar. Inzwischen je nach Displaymode mit weißer Schrift auf weiß oder schwarz auf dunkel… Dachte sowas kommt nicht durch das Apple App Review.

Wenn die App mal endlich funktioniert, ist sie gut. Der entscheidende Hinweis fehlt überall, wie man die App in Gang bekommt. Auch auf den HP Seiten steht stundenlanger Rotz, Man kommt nicht weiter. Warum? Weil man  in den App Einstellungen die Standortsuche zulassen muss!!!!!!!! Sonst geht es einfach nicht. Das steht aber nirgends. Ein typischer Fall für schlechten Support.

Leider hat sich meine Freude über die App geändert, da ich seit kurzem nicht mehr über diese App drucken kann. Das Scannen funktioniert weiterhin einwandfrei – nur drucken kann ich nicht, da der Drucker nicht gefunden wird. Laut App ist der Drucker allerdings bereit und ich kann auch Einstellungen vornehmen.

Die App wurde bisher problemlos mit einem Samsung CLX-3185 verwendet. Leider hat Sie seit iOS 18 das Problem, das Dokumente nur abgelegt werden und nicht das Druckfenster angezeigt wird und die Schriftfarbe im Ordner Dokumente ist gleich dem Hintergrund.

Wofür braucht die App meinen Standort? 
Schmutz. 
Wofür braucht die App die Rechte für Benachrichtigungen? Nur damit sie meinen Drucker findet...
Schmutz! 
Dann findet sie nach dem verkaufen meiner Seele den Drucker und beschwert sich dann beim Scannen das kein Netzwerk da ist obwohl der Drucker gefunden wurde?

Seit iOS 17 geht AirPrint nicht mehr auf meinem Samsung M288x. Auch mit dem neuesten Update hat sich wieder mal nichts geändert. Allerdings funktioniert drucken zumindest mit der App hier wieder ohne Probleme. War kurz davor mir einen neuen Drucker zu holen. Zum Glück habe ich es mit der App umgehen können.

Nach einer etwas hakeligen Einrichtung mit einem Printserver ist mein Samsung ML2165W nun von allen iphones und ipads im WLAN erreichbar. Die Druckqualität ist gut ! Das hätte sonst NUR mit einem neuen airprint Drucker funktioniert.
Leider ohne Support und die Macken wird wohl niemand korrigieren ?
