Hubspace

The most frustrating problem I keep encountering is that it always seems to take forever for the lights to connect to my phone. I have them linked on the wifi but when I open the app I have to wait 2-3 minutes to be able to turn on lights. This is most frustrating when I want to turn them off. The bulb is on but will not connect on the app so cannot be shut off unless I just unplug the lamp completely. I also saw another review on here saying we should be able to make our own preset light rotations and I wholeheartedly agree.

Easy to install, good product, I’m converting my entire home

I use this software to control my exterior lights. I used to have the first gen Phillips hue, but that system is no longer supported. The lights are good and produce decent colour. The system would be better if you could schedule an entire room to come on or develop your own colour scenes. This functionality was part of my original system that was 10 yrs old. I would be reluctant to recommend this system without that basic functionality.

I bought the eco smart colour changing light for my patio. While testing I programmed the bulb to turn on and off automatically. After testing I deleted the auto program and it shows that I have nothing programmed BUT, it continues to turn on and off automatically. I used live chat to get to a live agent that advised me that he couldn’t assist Canadian customers. The Canadian site has no live chat option.

I am liking the control I have of my newly purchased exterior lights and interior plugs. One con so far that I found is there does not seem to be a way to apply a schedule to a “room”. You need to schedule each device individually. But overall so far so good.

Just integrate with HomeKit for goodness sake.

Have had this product for one week and twice I’ve come home and found the light on when I’d had it off on the app from its last use. Not impressed.

I have two outdoor wifi plugs from Home Depot that use Hubspace to run. Everything worked great until the latest update. I can still manually control the plugs and use the timer feature, however the schedule feature (the main reason I use these) no longer functions. It does not turn the plugs on or off at the scheduled times despite full resets of the devices and app. I can set up automations in Google Home but they don’t allow me to control each switch (I have duals) independently, which only Hubspace does. Hoping this can be patched.

Why can’t I change the colour of the light? I upgraded the original remote to the remote that I can use with the app, but I now can’t change the lights color. The new remote doesn’t have the light colour and the app doesn’t have the light color. Did I just completely lose the ability to change the colour of the light?. The original remote had this button.

wish that will be on my Apple watch , interface perfect ! but wish intergration to Home app .
