Hume by FitTrack

The Hume app is glitchy, slow, and full of annoying prompts.

Don’t waste time with this app or scale. Even after buying the scale it keeps trying to force you to subscribe.

After troubleshooting and trying multiple times, this app simply doesn’t do what it is meant to. None of my body composition measurements, other than weight, sync to the app when I use my FitTrack dara scale. This app just sucks.

The title says it all. I was forced to update the app and the new app does not display any of the metrics. Have been ignored by the company. What a waste of money. Throw scale in the garbage.

I was a big fan of DARA and the very informative FitTrack Pro app. I used them to track progress and results every few days or so. They discontinued the FitTrackPro app and forced ‘Hume’ on every user, literally forcing them to jump since the previous app was now rendered useless with an update that won’t allow the user to escape the stupid ‘Try Hume’ prompt. In addition to the major inconvenience and ‘bait and switch’, the new Hume app is far less informative, less user friendly, and also shoves a greedy subscription model that no one asked for. The very concept of the subscription model is a joke in itself because it’s very difficult to justify garbage. They worsened the experience for the already DARA and FitTrackPro using customers, then offered a subscription for the new garbage. To Developers: How about you stick to what I originally paid for. DARA and FitTrackPro. I urge you to unblock the old app and fix this one for new customers. Read all the negative reviews. I’m not alone on this. Revert back to the old ways, at least for the old users. Otherwise, the promise of FitTrackPro was dishonest and my experience is ruined.

This is by far the worst app I have ever encountered. My fit track scale used to be a useable tool with useful and interesting information. Now it is reduced to a pile of junk as the new app I am forced to use with this previously purchased equipment is garbage. Old data from the previous app did not transfer over, and ease of use as well as functionality in the new app is simply not there. Perhaps it improves if you pay a monthly fee but I am not about to dump money into this currently. Extremely disappointing, should really not be legal to change the apps and make someone’s property no longer be functional

And now I have to buy the app too? I prefer FitTrack. Shady!
