Best writing app
This is the far best writing app I’ve ever used. And they keep updating their app to maintain their high quality app. Thanks. I really enjoy using your app!

Really love this app...simple... no distractions... just typing... typing and typing all the great ideas I have.
I started using this app since I need to write articles that will eventually be published in Markdown. It’s powerful but it lacks support for RTL languages. It does show Arabic content correctly, but it’s not RTL. Which makes the process of writing articles an Arabic such a hassle. Please enable this feature, I don’t think it’s difficult from a technical perspective. Apple’s Notes app has it.
It’s only my second day using this app, I’m already getting so much stress from it. Firstly, it was kind of disappointing on how the file access works. The Dropbox support was not convenient. Basically you’re forced to use iCloud to save your files and export it Dropbox if needed. The Direct access to Dropbox isn’t conveniently available at all. (Sorry I even find it hard to describe the usage behavior) As most people would expect to just link your Dropbox and open up files directly for writing or editing. I would hope for improvement on working with Dropbox files instead. Or at least to have options for using either iCloud or Dropbox. Secondly, for text selection; whether is it using the shortcut command or direct selection, the screen just keep scrolling up and down too quickly when you try to select any sentences. There’s no way for you to select precisely what you need. So the feature is basically just there for decorative purpose. While I’m not sure for the choice of MultiMarkdown, but having just too many things to change from our workflow just to use this app doesn’t make it any better for end users. Is YAML and GFM support possible?
Top notch. Always improving, upgrading, fixing issues. I’ve used it since the beginning . . . nothing better!
很简单的app,和txt软件差不多。建议可以增加中文ai排版或者自动排版,没有中文公文的字体,希望可以加入ai功能或者可以加入ai接口。
This is a quick app that takes care of a lot of things for you and it even saves for you. I use it instead of word. I’ve even used it to write short stories.
The iA writer is very useful, easy to use and my material is still there when I come back to read it. Thank you for a great writing program!
I have been searching for a long time for an editor that works well with voiceover and voice control. Finding a simple text editor shouldn't be this hard. I have considered iA Writer several times over the years but the price discouraged me from tying it. I really wish I had taken a chance years ago when it was much cheaper. However, I don't regret the purchase at its current price point. I'm also impressed with how quickly I got answers from support before I made the purchase. There are several other apps that haven't responded to my requests at all. Even though this editor is designed for markdown, I have had no trouble using it for LaTeX and other plain text file types. Now I can go back to concentrating on my notes and not fighting with the core tools of iOS.
It started back there when they presented well designed, but half baked feature wiki links. That suffers from the absence of back and sections linking. It continues with the are annoying bug glitching editing behavior while typing on iPad with keyboard. I mean they’ve failed the critical bug in the main feature of the app. Then it was the revolutionary md hash markup whatever feature. Like are you kidding me?! A hash function as a major feature? And now they presented the shortcut that just throws a user into a god forbidden chatgpt web page, leaving them to copy paste and then markup whatever it would print out useful manually, rather than use their own so hyped hash markup appendix whatever feature to being integrated through, that, well, would be consistent and reasonable to do, like to minimize the volume of user’s redundant moves even a bit. But nope sir, it isn’t there. The more it goes the more I believe that the team is suffering from the lack of development skills (no offense), while having enough of such in both product design and branding. I dunno why, but whatever, I’m tired of this. Bring the new editor this one is done.
