I love this app it does not have ads, it unlocks all brushes but when I checked the everything else i still need to unlock everything else so yea it's not bad but also not good

SHOULD YOU BUY IT: Yes! It's an improvement as it removes the worst thing about ibis Paint X (the free version): Annoying Advertisements that rot your brain.

The experience is identical to ibis Paint X. Same tools, same ways to draw, same everything. Nothing has changed, meaning if you mastered ibis Paint X you likely have mastered this app too. They didn't steal, though. They're made by the same company.

There are key differences, however: First of all, the toolbox is instantly open and there forever. You get all brushes for free and they're open even after 18 whole hours. No more watching an ad and looking at the weirdest stuff to get your hands on the extra brushes for a limited time.

The other difference is that there are no ads at all. The space opens up to you and everytime you close, you don't get wordscapes or zombies on your face. This might sound like a miniscule change on paper, but trust me, it's a bigger change than you think if you add up all the ads you get on the free version. (You get a lot of ads on the free version.)

In fact, I like the removal of ads because it decreases the time between being in the canvas and having all the tools to seeing your final drawing in more minimalist glory.

Sadly, you still need to pay for more features, as prime mode is more favored than a paid app. Womp womp. If that's not desired for you, pay for prime on ibis Paint X rather than buy this app.

### ***** "Great App! But…"
Honest to god that I’ve been using the Ibis Paint apps for 8 years now, and for good reason. The app is beginner friendly, the YT channel has been helpful with tutorials on art ideas such as stained glass or even anime scene. However, I do have to say that I’m a little disappointed to know that even after I bought the full version, I still have to pay for the premium stuff.
