Losses contact constantly, when the alarm does work it only works outside on the actual unit not on the phone I’m monitoring. Just pure junk

iChef ET-736 by Maverick delivers a great roasting or grilling experience.
The thermometer tracks the internal temperature of the food cooking in your oven or on the grill. It then transmits the temperatures over WIFI using your home router or through the internet using the cloud to your iOS device where the iChef app is running.
The iChef app monitors your food’s cooking progress and alerts you when your food is done. You set a temperature for your food. You can select from preset temperatures for all types of meats calibrated for doneness or use your own. While the food is cooking, the app calculates the estimated cooking time. Once complete, the app alerts you. Because iChef communicates over WIFI and the cloud, you can get reliably get notified nearly anywhere.
Overall, iChef delivers a complete cooking experience. Using it will make your cooking more precise and help you create even more delicious meals!

Great/useful app&device
Connection was perfect for me w no interruptions. Fairly simple setup instructions. Temperature was checked w a home thermometer was spot on. When compared to using a timer to estimate temp, this app/device worked great and cooked to perfect temp.
Only 1 device can access
No facility for multiple devices. Had a cloud feature so why not?
Very Poor
The app send notifications whenever it feels like it and for no reason. It loses connection constantly. It notifies me that the set temperature has been reached when it hasn't. The worst app I've ever used.
iOS app Needs work
I have an iPhone and all information in the manual and online is android related. The app does not match the manual but easy enough to figure out. It appears the iOS app is missing some of the android features.
Does not work
Been waiting for this for months to come out for OS and it doesn't even work very disappointed hopefully you don't waste your money and buy this unit
