iConnectHue for Philips Hue

This app worked great until I recently got the latest hue switch. I’ve now gone in to try and add a simple action to turn on a light and the action won’t add. It only works when adding an action to turn on a group of lights. Very disappointed as I’ll have to revert to the basic settings for the new switch.

I’ve had this app since the beginning and I couldn’t be more pleased. Only ever had a couple of minor issues. Despite there being many apps on the market, this one has so much variety and you can always find what you need. Nearly all my lighting is set using various sunset and sunrise timers and colour changing and dimming modes. I don’t need to touch a thing, my lighting just manages itself all year round. Thank you

8.99 for the app, then 6.99 to add a second bridge, then 6.99 for discotainment.. (all functions seem to be add ons you have to further pay for.) Great app and functionality I imagine, but at a large cost.

At first I was apprehensive about spending $NZ5.99 on an app for the Hue system. I’d already bought others which I felt were a waste of money. iConnectHue is everything but though! This app is amazing. I can easily group my lights together, create better widgets and so much more that the Philips app doesn’t. Easily the most used app on my iPhone X. If you have the Philips Hue system in your house, you owe it to yourself to buy this app immediately.

The Add-on for more devices, offered as free, turned out to be 99c, not a lot I know. not free though Apart from that - this App is great at programing the Hue Tap switch and the Motion sensor. It gives many levels of settings for each switch, and makes setting and changing the Motion sensor easy.

Much better than the Philips app, and the developer keeps making it better.

Was a good app. Upgraded yesterday and now just crashes on my iphone 5 when you open app. My phone has never been jail broken. Hit the app support button in the AppStore but just takes you to a forum page with support for other apps. No mention of iconnect hue.

Inzwischen ist das Problem mit den nachlaufenden Helligkeitsreglern behoben. Das war auch das einzige Problem, welches ich mit der App je hatte. Insgesamt eine gute App die ich täglich seit etlichen Jahren nutze.

Ich würde super gerne 5 oder mehr Sterne geben, weil die App wirklich gut ist viele Möglichkeiten bietet und wenn man sich einmal eingearbeitet hat auch leicht zu bedienen ist. Ich nutze Die App nun seit etwa 8 Jahren und gerade am Anfang meines Smart Home Einstiegs hat mir diese App sehr geholfen. Aus diesen Gründen vergebe ich überhaupt noch Sterne! Und aus diesen Gründen hatte ich mich auch mal entschieden diese App zu kaufen um eben die Entwickler zu unterstützen auch die Tatsache, dass die IPad Version separat gekauft werden musste, hat mich nicht abgeschreckt, die App wurde weiterentwickelt und irgendwie muss das finanziert werden. Mittlerweile nutze ich die App leider nicht mehr… Zum einen bin ich an einem komplett anderen Level von Smart Home angelangt, was aber ein anderes Thema ist. Gravierend ist aber die Tatsache, dass Funktionen die ich ja damals irgendwie mit gekauft habe mittlerweile nicht mehr verfügbar sind und ich diese mit einem Update erneut Kaufen oder eben sogar durch ein ABO! erneut bezahlen soll/muss! Klar muss irgendwie Geld rein kommen, aber entweder muss man sich hier um neue Kunden bemühen oder eben NEUE Funktionen zum Kauf anbieten, nicht aber bestehende Funktionen sperren und verlangen dass erneut dafür bezahlt werden muss! Zu damaligen Konditionen und Vorraussetzungen, habe ich diese doch bereits bezahlt oder etwa nicht? Ich kann nichts dafür, dass damals ein einmaliger Kauf angeboten wurde, bei dem es sogar darum ging, damit die App weiterentwickelt werden kann. Ich wollte die Weiterentwicklung mit meinen Käufen fördern und das ist der Dank dafür? Es ist generell leider nur noch traurig was einem mittlerweile nur noch zu unverhältnismäßig teuren Abos angeboten wird. Und gespannt wo uns das alles noch hinführen wird. Ich denke die Tatsache, dass ich mir als eigentlich begeisterter und ehemals zahlender Kunde, die Mühe mache diese Rezension zu schreiben, zeigt in welche Richtung es geht… Schöne Grüße von einem ehemaligen Nutzer EDIT: Meine Aussage zu unverhältnismäßig teuren Abos, ist generell gemeint und bezieht sich nicht nur auf diese App! Ich denke sogar, dass diese App im Verhältnis noch relativ humane Preise aufruft.
