Their new products cannot connect to this app, and other Tradfri items are very hard to come by where I live. Their new hub does not work with this app. IKEA may be abandoning Tradfri users soon.

I changed my phone to iPhone 14 and the smart home app keeps rejecting the old gate way. I am using my old phone to access the system. Tradfri light bulbs start to fail one by one after 4 years of usage. The whole system malfunctioned every time there is an update.

is Ikea tradfri discontinued? Why I can’t buy from ikea for a couple years? I bought full system of ikea smart home but my bulb was dead and I cannot find replacement, so this system still useful?

-Cannot change timer's name -Lights were not turned off by timers when reached stop time -Lights were turned on though the timer has only stop time selected

- should have a master switch for Turn on/ off in all room. - even in the same room, the first light will turn on/off before and then the rest lights will follow.

Not recommend

No issues connecting an “old” remote to ORMANÄS (=obviously no technical compatibility issues), but can’t connect ORMANÄS to Trådfri gateway. Completely unnecessary e-waste. I don’t need the new features in the new gateway, they’re all in Apple Home anyways.
