ilumen turns your iPhone into a compact film camera.

Modern phone photos look "digital": over-sharpened, over-brightened, flattened by HDR. ilumen goes the other way. It captures 48MP RAW and develops every shot itself — sharpening off, AI enhancement off — for photos with the soft, dimensional character of a classic compact film camera.

FOUR FILM RECIPES
• Positive — punchy contrast, deep shadows, warm color
• Negative — lifted blacks, soft highlights, muted warmth
• Hi-Contrast B&W — crushed blacks, optional grain
• Standard — the pure, natural RAW render

A REAL PHOTOGRAPHER'S CAMERA
• 28mm-equivalent 3:2 framing with bright framelines
• The viewfinder shows your recipe live — what you see is what you get
• Two-axis white balance shift (amber–blue / green–magenta), per recipe
• Softness control that melts digital crispness like a mist filter
• Film grain, per recipe — grainy B&W, clean color, your call
• Exposure compensation, tap to focus
• Every setting remembered per recipe, like film sims on a real camera

SIMPLE ON PURPOSE
One screen. No menus, no editing afterwards. Press the shutter and a finished photo lands in your library — 48MP, ready to share.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no network, no data collection. Your photos never leave your phone.

Full 48MP capture uses Apple ProRAW, available on iPhone 14 Pro and later. Other iPhones shoot 12MP RAW with the same film development. Requires iOS 17 or later.
