To protect your privacy and save internet bandwidth, the video is paused
Forcing us to buy Cloud storage in a cowardly manner.
I have been a long-time customer of imou. Everything was fine until imou released recent updates and terrible policies. When viewing the camera on the computer, you have disconnected the continuous display with the excuse of saving bandwidth, but in reality, you are forcing us (your customers) to buy Cloud storage. We bought an IP camera, which means we expect to be able to conveniently view it online. My home fiber optic network is very strong, and I don’t need imou to “save” bandwidth for me by forcing me to buy something I don’t need. I have never had any bandwidth issues viewing the camera continuously. This is an unfair, greedy, and foolish way to exploit your customers. Do you know that people are heavily criticizing this on forums and groups? In the future, I will definitely switch to using your competitor products and advise others not to choose a brand that is so determined to “bleed” its loyal customers. This is terrible!!!
