Stop Trying to Take Payment After Cancellation
4 times in less than a week, Imprint has tried to take payment even after I’ve emailed them to remind them I’ve cancelled my subscription. This has to be illegal is they continue to try to take payment after I’ve cancelled (months ago).
Terrible
I regret downloading this app
great app
that is the most amazing app to learn i’ve ever owned thank youu
$$$
I really enjoyed this app but there’s no way to justify spending $100 a year on it.
Everything requires payment
It’s ridiculous to have to pay to improve your mental health. Every activity requires a subscription & im too broke to afford it personally which is why I need mental help…. But maybe when I hit the lottery
Waste
Requires purchase after filling out an extensive survey that is really not very clear. So don’t download unless you plan to spend money without any clue of what you’re getting
Scammers
I never signed up for this and they took $99 out of my bank account. They have no customer phone service. DO NOT even do a “free trial” on this. I’m not subscribed to this and never have. Please give me my money back.
not worth the money
Not up front about charges
Amazing app!
This is my first time posting a review, and I haven’t been interested in doing so until now. The topics are not only interesting, engaging, and insightful, but they are practical! It’s awesome to learn facts/ideas that you can apply to your every day life. Its content is exactly as advertised. The topics are also sourced from well known books. So instead of reading through multiple long books, you can learn the essential ideas from best sellers in only minutes. Definitely worth checking out!
The monetization model betrays the con.
Your ad says “DuoLingo, for Philosophy” but DuoLingo has an amazing monetization model: free, limited use, with ads, forever; or else, paid, full, ad-free use. They know it works because their product is deep, robust, and amazing, so free users will become paid users.
You don’t have that confidence in your platform, so you have to charge people A HUNDRED DOLLARS after just seven days of use, and they don’t get the seven days without committing to being charged. That tells me that you don’t think people will convert after seven days, let alone thirty days, or six months, of free use. So, you have to get people on the hook by doing nothing after seven days. It is the scummiest form of trial funnels.
Notwithstanding the average star rating, the actual reviews back up my suspicion. You feed people shallow content, just deep enough to get A HUNDRED DOLLARS after seven days of use, and only afterward do they find out that their courses aren’t actually complete, there are frustrating UI deficiencies, and there is no robust progression system.
So, no. I think I’ll keep my hundred dollars.
