Charged me without confirmation
When you sign up for their seven day trial, be warned that they do NOT send you an email or message to let you know your trial is ending and asking whether or not you want to subscribe. I was shocked to see a payment confirmation go through without any prior warning or approval. I have contacted the company but have not yet heard back.
The free daily options do not work
I wanted to try this out before going buying it but it was pretty disappointing as the daily free option does not work.
Verrrry slow to load
Downloaded this and a few other apps to compare, and I tried several times over multiple days to try this app, but on no occasion did the content load. Just a bunch of grey boxes and an endless load. Perhaps my slow internet didn’t help, but the other apps work no problem, as do streaming services. A shame I couldn’t try as it looks interesting.
Please add landscape mode support for iPad.
I am using 12.9 in iPad and it is difficult to work read with a large device with one hand use. Stage manager makes it possible with landscape but it barely takes the screen.
Support for landscape will further enhance my experience as I often use my iPad with Magic Keyboard.
Great for a neurodivergent mind!
I am loving imprint because I am learning and retaining information and insights without the overwhelm and shame of many unfinished books! The visuals are simple and balanced with the amount of text on a page. Being able to save key points is valuable to me.
Slightly buggy
Currently completing the science of happiness and sometimes doesn’t appear with options to select after asking a multi choice question and occasionally shows up with code for where my answer should’ve been. When I closed the app because of this it locked me out saying I missed a session and I wasn’t ready to partake in it? Bruh
Over glorified book summary
I wish the chapters in each “book” lasted a bit longer.. like twice the size, have more details
Right now most of the chapters i read skim things, repeat the same ideas 2-3 times, but doesnt offer much
I expected this to be similar calibre to teded viseos but it is disappointing
Keeps me off instagram though
Cool app but too expensive
I really like the app and the idea but honestly thing the price plans are a bit OTT. You either pay $150 a year (assuming that’s usd which is currently $261 nzd) or 22.50 a month (~$39). I’d love to use the app more but it’s not something I can afford. Obvious answer is go for the yearly subscription but I don’t have the cash for that, then the monthly subscription price isn’t justifying enough for an app I’m still unsure I’ll be using or not.
Why not a dual subscription or family subscription?
Hi there, I really love this app! Is a great idea and I would love to purchase the subscription even without the free trial but I’ve found it a bit too expensive, like Spotify does would be really nice to have a dual or family membership. People that live alone have little money to spend and this could be a great idea to incentivise the subscriptions.
So far I like this app
I downloaded the free trial and I’ve already skimmed three books. I love it for that! I hope more material is constantly uploaded as the other reviews seem to indicate content is limited…I also wish the app developers would address the one star reviews as it’s unprofessional to not reply. I don’t mind the price personally. If there is lots of content on the app (at least a years worth) than it’s worth it.
