Anytime I try to restart my password it will go to chrome instead of instagram

I have been using my IG account for over 8/10yrs now and I was suspended recently and and all efforts to retrieve the account has been futile, I sincerely don’t have any idea how to get my account back

Today makes an exact week since i dropped a one star review. After i didn’t get my account reenabled i decided to download my information, reviewed a request one last time and if it wasn’t unlocked delete my IG for good. Woke up this morning to see my account returned. Thanks Instagram. Find my previous review here 👇 “Like come on! How would an app as big as instagram not have a person behind desk for customer support??? My account has been disable since July omg, i’ve submitted all of my documents wth!! You have my birth certificate on your servers now, my national identification card, i even Tried my library ID card. I would have let this account go, but it is really important to me Christ!!!! On this account i have started making international connections, very important; as networking is crucial for my career. You never do anything to reach out, i had a similar experience with substack, a much much smaller platform than instagram and after an appeal they unlocked my account, in two days! Now im graduating Uni in two days, and i will not be able to post my graduation pictures or tag my friends. Wdym I should open a new account. For crying out loud, unlock my account I have tagged y’all endlessly on X, yet you never reply, instead i get spammed by hackers asking me to dm so they can unlock it for me. Annoying part is that you leave this unattended to, other people on instagram are unaware of this, until it happens to them. For crying out loud, you asked for a video verification, I did it. Crazy part is that my finsta on my smaller phone, got locked afterwards, i did the video verification and it was unlocked, WITHOUT no ID. Yet you’ve not handled my appeal, please please please. If you read this review to the end then here’s my instagram handle bammmideleee unlock it and please let me be able to post my graduation photos on the day it happens, it’s in two days also i’ve not been able to share reels with my sister since july omgggg.”
