Intalink is a collaboration of bus and train operators with the Hertfordshire local authorities. This partnership promotes passenger transport and aims to provide the travelling public with the information needed to make travelling on public transport as easy as possible.
The Intalink Travel Information app helps you on your way when you travel by bus. This app provides real-time departure information for the majority of bus services in Hertfordshire and for all the bus stops in the county. The Intalink Travel Information app also provides for m-ticketing, allowing users to purchase a range of tickets on their phone prior to travel.
Getting bus times on your phone:
• Search for any bus stop using a name search.
• Selected from the returned list and the information about when buses are scheduled to arrive at the bus stop is shown. If real-time departure information is available then each bus will show the timetabled time and will also show the expected time of arrival to the bus stop, highlighting whether the bus is on time or delayed.
• Select a particular bus from the list and that will display the list of bus stops in the route which the bus runs along.
• A map will be shown on the home screen and this will show your location and the nearby bus stops around where you are is located.
• Select one of these bus stops on the map and view the buses that are upcoming for that bus stop.
• Favourite any bus stops selected.
Buying tickets:
• Browse the tickets available to purchase from the different operators.
• View all your purchased tickets in your ticket wallet.
• Tickets can be purchased using credit/debit card payments and depending on the bus operator Paypal or Apple Pay may be available.
• When browsing the ticket catalogue, you can add tickets to your basket, including multiples of a particular ticket or different tickets from the same provider.
• You can choose to gift a ticket after you have purchased it. The other user can claim a gifted ticket by downloading the Intalink Travel Information app and then clicking on the link that you sent to them. This will then create the gifted ticket on the other user’s device in an available status for them to activate when they are ready to.
• Use the ‘Buy Again’ option.

Doesn’t actually show the bus time
The journey planner doesn’t actually show the bus time. This is quite a big flaw! Running ios16.2 on iPhone 12pro
Unhelpful site without live bus information
I’ve tried to use this several times and it’s useless. Better to use Google maps. Intalink should look at other bus apps used by other bus companies like morebus in Bournemouth which plans your routes on the fly and shows you where your approaching bus is on the map so you know it is actually coming.
Absolutely useless
The green sarratt my location is put it at the green Rickmansworth so the information is incorrect. The live information is completely incorrect. Trying to get from sarratt to Belsize put me through a one hour journey. It’s actually two minutes down the road by bus.Absolutely ridiculous app. Just bin it

Inaccurate
Disagreed with the screen at the bus stop and completely skipped my bus reporting the next one incorrectly. Seems to be useless if the data is wrong! Uninstalled and switched to an alternative
Limited use
App claims to offer real-time information. Like the ‘real time’ indicators at most bus stops outside the town centres, it doesn’t and never has. The ‘locate me’ function placed me in the middle of the Atlantic. The pitiful offering of tickets from 3 small bus companies doesn’t include anything useful like a day ticket, and not even Intalink’s own outrageously priced ‘all operator’ ticket. ‘More operators coming soon’ has been on the app for *4* years. You can’t plan a journey with it, and the search for a bus stop function doesn’t work either - I honestly don’t know why Herts County Council bothers or why they’ve paid Core Three to develop it
Pointless
It doesn’t tell me how to get anywhere, when the buses come.. general information i would expect from a bus app. Will be deleting.
Don’t bother!
It’s not worked for the past week, and I’ve had to pay for the tickets despite already paying for them. Unreliable app! Even when the app works, the codes don’t work more than half of the time. Thankfully most of the drivers are understanding but there’s been a few times where I’ve been forced to pay for a ticket AGAIN!
Terrible
Using this app means you are looking for a mess with bus drivers because their machines cannot read the bar codes from the app.
