Out of all of the meal planning apps I’ve tried, this one is the best. There is a paywall, but it’s only for a few recipes. Pretty much all other features are available. One thing that I think would be incredibly helpful is a budgeting feature so that you can track or project how much you spend on food.
Excellent- I can enter my calorie and macro goals, choose my menu and send shopping list to my local store. This is a game changer for me and has helped my health and my finances so much. I even made a couple of suggestions via the feedback link and got a nice response. I’ll have this app forever!
I wanted to try the free trail but it wasn’t free at all. They charged my card immediately and won’t answer my emails. I even waited a few days because I assumed the refund was just being processed but after a couple a weeks of getting nothing back I grew tired of waiting. Don’t get the app if you don’t want to get scammed. I still want my refund, i cancelled that same day so I should be charged for a full year if I’m not even going to be allowed to access the year plan after canceling it.
I love this app, it helps me so much with meal planning. It gets very detailed in asking specific questions on preference on cooking how cheap or flexible you are with how much you wanna spend on groceries. It’s linked to my Walmart app and it sends all the ingredients and quantity of them to my cart. So helpful, but it can also show you the list of what to get if your gonna go to the store yourself. I can customize it to how many people I’m cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner and calculates everything if I’m also gonna have left overs the next day. It’s been so helpful for me cooking for my family and helping with my spending since I would just buy whatever and make whatever. This app is worth it. The premium just has certain meals that you can’t access if your not on premium. However either way it’s both worth it to me if you have a busy schedule.. helps a bunch.
I really like all the features of this app. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are often wrong. For example, this week it meal planned a pasta dish for me and said my serving size was about 850 g. Unfortunately, the recipe only yielded about 1000 g total. This recipe was supposed to be for two days, but at 850 g per serving that’s not doable.
we were so excited to use this app but after 1 hour of try to make it work the kroger integration does not work, so fustrating
This has been great to log my meals, however, the scanner for food item bar codes has never worked for me. Could also be great to have a database similar to other weight loss apps of nutrients for specific foods/brands that you can add!
Hopefully this is free and worth it.
This app has helped a ton with my meal planning and I love that you can export your grocery list for delivery. My only complaint would be that the “barcode scanner” doesn’t really scan barcodes but rather the nutritional label of items which can be a bit confusing starting out. Also, there should be a camera option when taking photos of custom food. That way you can just take a picture of the item while still in the app instead of backing out to take a photo, then uploading the photo.
