The App lets you find halal stocks listed in Indian stock markets (NSE & BSE)

Six key criteria, set by renowned scholars, must be met for a company’s shares to be considered Sharia-compliant for investment. 

1. The Business
2 . Income from non-Sharia-compliant investments
3 . Interest-bearing debt to total assets
4 . Illiquid assets to total assets ratio
5. Net liquid assets vs market capitalisation
6. Noncompliant investment to Total Assets

The thought

The stock market is one of the best places for investments. With the growing interest of people in the stock market, there was a requirement to address the needs of Muslims by imparting education about Shariah principles of investing and providing a unique platform to assist them in finding compliant stocks for free. This led to the development of IslamicStock.
