I understand the issues on taking over this process however the app needs to be more simple for the key requirements of alarming/disarming, it’s hidden and very small buttons don’t help - can we have the old four box back ? My siren hasn’t sounded since the update, shame as the hardware is great 😬
This app seems to get worse over time. The status to the alarm is usually incorrect and it often reports the alarm in a Dusarmed state when the opposite is true. Accessing the arm and disarm functionality is not intuitive and clunky. The status of the various sensors is wrong. For example, I have a working motion sensor, but it is reported as offline. The degree of customisation has got less over time. The original app wasn’t great but it was a lot better than this rubbish. It is just terrible app.
Recent update and new storage options are an improvement.
The app occasionally stops working for hours, days and at one point weeks. This just isn’t acceptable for an alarm app. At various times there have been other problems, such as the inability to add new sensors - the latest app just didn’t allow it, I had to pull out an old iPad which I hadn’t used for years just to re-add a door sensor that had de-sync’d. I actually bought 3 of the hardware alarms... garage, house and office. The app can no longer connect to any of the three and now just show red error lights. Steer clear!
It was fine for years until they decided to redesign it. It doesn’t work at all now.
Forced into using this new app as inevitably iSmartAlarm went bust. This app is even worse. Forgets your cube one all the time requiring you re-login, handy when you’re trying to turn the alarm off at 3am…. 🙄
Hi, new update not good. Not see time when door or windows is open or closed. You don’t now when someone come or go. Alarm or disAlarm bottoms is to small for new. apps. Also can not add tag or new sensors.
I have had my iSmartAlarm cameraFor three years and it has worked perfectly now all of a sudden you have made these new changes and it is a load of crap rubbish doesn’t work
Why oh why was this app changed???? It worked perfectly before but now I cannot even see my cube, my sensors or remote status in the app let alone arm it?!?!?! RIDICULOUS- needs sorting now!!!
They’ve gone bust, the app is someone else’s and your equipment is shortly going to be a paper weight, IFTTT has stopped and so has all notifications
