Can’t use it - whenever I open it it just keeps crashing. Not worth fiddling with.

iStreams displays the valid hourly Solent tidal stream atlas for the current real time, in reference to the time of high water at Portsmouth... a smart app, fully functional offline. With tools to measure tide set and interpolated rate.
The nearest Portsmouth HW time to the actual time is selected from the database and the relevant streams chart is displayed, together with the time period for which the chart is valid.
As the time moves to the next valid period, the relevant hourly chart is auto displayed.
Local or UTC time can be selected
* Swiping on the chart, displays the next or previous tidal hour chart.
* Whenever the chart displayed is valid at the current time, the validity period is displayed in green.
* Pinching the screen zooms the chart
* Tapping the location button shows your actual boat position on the chart.
Select 'West' or 'East' from the segmented control to display Solent area required.
Select the rate tool to auto calculate the interpolated tidal rate when in between neaps and springs.
Select the 'Set' tool to measure the precise true course of any tidal stream arrow. (in-app purchase)
Select the 'CTS' tool to calculate a course to steer. (in-app purchase)
The app automatically selects the nearest Portsmouth HW time of the day, but if you want to see data for the next or previous HW of the day, swipe forward or back to advance the tidal hour.
For forward planning, tap on the date to select a different date, whereupon data relevant to that date will be displayed.

Do not buy this app
It worked for a few days and then has not worked since. Deleted it, re-installed it. Switched phone off, re started and nothing happens other than it opens then immediately closes. Wanted to support this as it’s locally built but sorry if this was a product I’d be taking it back to where it came from and asking for a refund.
Really useful, but you need to subscribe
Forget the one-star idiot, if you don’t subscribe you don’t have new data, once you subscribe it’s great.
Old 2018 data beware
Don’t rely on this as it is inaccurate and shows todays date and time perfectly but for 2018 and with 2018 data. So misleads you into the wrong information
Top app. Very useful.
Saves a lot of time working out tidal hours.

Nice app but paid for licence on iPad but have to buy a second one to use on iPhone not friendly !
