### **--- "Dark Scenes black"
If a scene is dark then I am ‘watching’ through darkness. Often no idea who the characters are on screen because it is a black screen. Put the captions on so that so I can hear about what is happening in the darkness. Not always easy to find my next episode either.  Have to endure commercials over and over. Doesn’t make for enjoyable viewing.

Please please please fix this app!! I used to use it every day, but for the past couple of months it won’t work when casting to chromecast. It will play up to the first adverts, then crashes. So so annoying, please fix it!!!

Whenever there’s a commercial break you get this ooops something gone wrong and you have to disconnect and then connect your chrome cast in order to cast again this has only happened in the last couple of months.

Every time I cast ITVX it cuts off at every advert and I have to wait until the adverts pass and reconnect. It really has put me off watching ITVX as much as I used to. It’s really annoying. 
I hate this app! What’s the point in trying to watch a series if it cuts you off every advert?? I’m done with itv!

For some reason certain shows aren’t viewable due to when the programme goes to the ad break it freezes. I’ve tried to redownload the app check for updates and any other steps google suggests but it hasn’t worked which is disappointing. This appears to be a common problem when searching online

Used to be such a good App but over the last couple of years it has deteriorated to the point it’s almost unwatchable. Programs freeze, app takes you back to the start of program whilst playing sound from where you left off. Have to reload the app and then get another pile of adverts. Seriously, ITV, what is going on?

So the problem is when I cast to my tv then the adverts come on it just stops casting and won't go any further so I have to disconnect and watch the adverts and then reconnect until the next advert and I then repeat the process

Easily the most glitchy, buggy miserable user experiences I’ve had with a streaming service. Don’t bother, the amount of time you’re going to waste attempting to watch something is simply not worth even downloading the app.

I cast stuff from my phone or tablet as we don’t have a smart tv… and the app crashes once it gets to the first ad break meaning it’s not possible to watch the rest of the show or film. Useless. They’ve done nothing to correct this despite posting a note 2 months ago saying they were aware ofthe issue. It meanswe no longer watch ITV. See ya.

There’s still frequent itv ad breaks when paying for premium. They also glitch and repeat on loop, and lose where you were in the programme if you exit then make you watch another set of adverts. This app isn’t worth paying 5.99 for.

### **--- "Buggy & Premium Not Value"
The iPad app, even with sub, doesn’t consistently show what the smart TV and iPhone app shows. For instance, Van der Valk is currently showing 3 series including last week’s new one on the smart TV app and iPhone. But on the iPad app it just shows three episodes. I’ve had the same happen with other programmes like Vera, etc It’s been like this since launch and isn’t good enough. The premium subscription also doesn’t have much benefit as the programmes aren’t released alongside the broadcast of programmes on TV… they often don’t appear until much, much later which means you’re forced to watch it with ads from TV recording before it’s on ITVX. Gave up 'premium' subscription - it just means you have to wait until after it's been broadcast over-the-air. No point.

Slowest app both on phone and TV. Nothing to do with wifi as other similar apps work fine and have fibre 1k. Painfully slow, dial up internet days.
