Since I only use the app for notes, the problem is not so serious for me. However, it is disappointing that the Pro version of the app advertises the conversion to docx, but this document can only be opened with restrictions in Office 2019 and not at all in O365.  I would urgently recommend a fix for this, as the functionality of the Pro variant as a simple note tool for quick and easy generation of work versions suffers greatly.

Ich nutze die App, um meine Doktorarbeit auf dem iPad schreiben zu können. Normalerweise sitze ich am Mac und nutze schreibe in Markdown mit VS Code + Pandoc, aber für unterwegs fehlte mir bislang ein Editor. Dabei habe ich schon viele andere Apps probiert, aber keine konnte bislang überzeugen. Mir gefällt bei iWriter Pro das schliche, anpassbare Design und die sinnvollen Features. Besonders die Tastenkombinationen erleichtern mit die Arbeit!

Ich nutze die App hauptsächlich zum Schreiben meiner Blogposts, welche ich dann direkt als Markdown in dem Blog kopiere.
Die Rechtschreibprüfung ist, eine Traum, genau wie die App selber. 
Ich kann mich wunderbar auf dem leeren „Papier“ verlieren und gänzlich auf meinen Text konzentrieren. 

Am iPhone sammel ich die Ideen, als Strichpunkte. Am iPad Pro werden diese zum letztendlich Text ausgearbeitet.

Die Shortcuts sind schnell zu erlernen, das Arbeiten geht flüssig von der Hand und der Spaß am Schreiben leider kein bisschen.

Dazu die günstige, einmalige Investition, kein zusätzliches Abo und eine nahtlose Integration in die iCloud. Ich bin nicht weniger als begeistert, es ist eine Freude diese App täglich nutzen zu können.

Ich habe die App für IOS und Mac gekauft, um geschäftlich (also DSGVO-konform) Notizen und Konzepte zu verfassen. Leider ist der Sync nur mit iCloud möglich. Ich kann die Dateien nicht in GoogleDrive speichern oder öffnen(vom iPad aus) oder neue Dokumente erstellen. Auf die Fotobibliothek habe ich auch kein Zugriff, wenn ich in den Einstellungen „GoogleDrive“ als Speicherort einstelle. Wieso gibt es die Möglichkeit, wenn ich den Speicherort „GoogleDrive“ nicht nutzen kann? Bitte dringend nachbessern. Vielen Dank.

### *---- "Verliert Daten, Dropbox Anbindung unterirdisch"
Habe mich leider selten über einen Kauf so geärgert. Die App hat es tatsächlich geschafft, einen ganzen Ordner mit hunderten in Konflikt stehenden Kopien vollzumüllen und in keiner dieser Dateien war tatsächlich der letzte Stand gespeichert. Wirklich unterirdisch. Ich verwende regelmäßig andere Apps, die auch die Dropbox-Anbindung verwenden und das ist mir noch nie passiert.

Extrem schade, weil es sonst eine hübsche minimalistische Writer App sein könnte. Aber in dem Zustand war es leider rausgeschmissenes Geld.

### ***** "Auf‘s Wesentliche konzentrieren und das dafür richtig"
So kann man am besten diese App beschreiben. Die App hat nur eine Größe von 6,4 MB (ja, das geht, wenn man keine Tracking-SW einbaut und Boilerplate Code entstehen lässt). Sie startet extrem schnell und man kann umgehend dort weiter arbeiten, wo man aufgehört hat.

Markdown-Editoren sollten sich per se auf das Wesentliche konzentrieren und hier ist alles an Board, was man wirklich braucht. Auch die Bedienung ist schlüssig und man kommt sehr schnell damit klar. Geräteübergreifendes Arbeiten funktioniert auch super. Was will man also mehr?

Mir gefällt diese Schreibsoftware wirklich gut. Für iOS gibt es auch eine App für den gleichen Preis. Wenn man dann beide gekauft hat, liegt man bei 8Euro. Das ist mir eine solche Software wert. Ich kann auf dem Mac anfangen zu schreiben und später via iCloud auf dem iPad weitermachen. Falls man iCloud nicht nutzt, kann man auch über Dropbox gehen, nehme ich allerdings nur zur Versionssicherung.

### ***** "Sehr gutes Schreibprogramm"
iWriter Pro ist wirklich eine schöne App. Das Design ist schlicht und lässt sich mit 4 Farbschemen anpassen, wobei sich dabei leider auch die Tastaturfarbe mit ändert und so wird die Tastatur immer schwarz, wenn man nicht das weiße Theme nimmt.
Der Zeilenabstand ist nicht zu groß und man kann die unnötige Toolbar ausblenden.
Ich freu mich schon auf die Mac Version ;)
