This should be a five star thanks to the great hardware and sound when it works. Unfortunately the software constantly create problems such as loosing the connection and you need to go back to factory resetting in order to be able to use the wifi-connection features of the system. Please fix!!!

It’s very good, the app has a lot of potential. However, the equalizer/presets gets bugged sometimes which requires a restart of the app.

While the JBL Charge 5 WiFi speakers deliver excellent sound quality, the accompanying software has some significant issues that need addressing. MAJOR ISSUES: 1. Volume Spikes: The volume sometimes skyrockets unexpectedly, often when adjusting it on the phone, through a music app, or after a phone call interruption. This is not just inconvenient but can be startling, especially at night. 2. Connection Drops: The speakers frequently drop their connection and disappear from the list of available devices. Resetting WiFi or Bluetooth, restarting everything, or waiting a few minutes occasionally resolves this, but it’s far from reliable. 3. Buggy Speaker Grouping: Grouping multiple speakers is a hassle. Even after correctly ungrouping them, I often have to reset all the speakers to factory settings to get them to work together again. 4. Smart TV Connectivity: Connecting the speakers to a Smart TV is frustratingly difficult. MINOR/ANNOYING ISSUES: 1. Frequent Resets: The speakers often require resetting to function properly. 2. Firmware Delays: Every time you connect to a new WiFi network, there’s an annoying 20+ second firmware check for each speaker. Can a speaker just be a speaker please. I do not want every device being connected the internet! If there is a new firmware update allow me to say no to the update. I am so tired of everything havving to be uodated all the time. Can I just turn on the TV and have sound without all the hassles of waiting for firmware.

This is the worse app!!! It doesn’t see that you’re playing music from the Apple Music app. Wanted to use it to see if there was a firmware update because the speaker and Apple Watch do not play well together.
